I made a stop during a long drive from Miami to Houston. I had a feeling it would be satisfying and I was not disappointed. The only disappointment I had was when I was miles away and down to my last bite. Service was accommodating and polite, showing me the hospitality and common courtesy I have so been missing in Miami.

I’m surprised this working man’s eatery just sold me a $10 breakfast “bowl” in a little cup meant for side dishes. That’s the kind of behavior I’d expect from a vegan restaurant. Hell a breakfast sandwich would have been a larger portion and half the price.

Made a pitstop and wanted to find a sandwich shop! Andy’s hit the mark. Husband has the camel rider sandwich- their version of an Italian- includes bologna with other deli meat, banana peppers seasonings etc in a pita pocket. I wanted a bacon and egg cheese sandwich- but missed breakfast hour- but the cook made a great suggestion for BLT and add an egg. Perfect!

The owner is very personable. The cook, Drew, does a great job (even with special orders) he pays attention to the detail. The girls at the register are always smiling and very friendly. You are in and out within a few minutes, max. They understand the concept of a 30min lunch break. You can call your order in or order when you get there. Either way you’re not there for very long.
It’s just an all around GREAT place to eat breakfast and lunch. Closed nights, weekends and holidays. Jack that’s his employees AWESOME! I will always recommend this little hidden jewel. It’s a small family owned place that will treat you right.

Been living in Jacksonville for 15 years and never stop here. Waoo what I been missing. The food is great. I had a Swiss mushroom burger with fries. Was perfect!!!. I love the attitude of everyone here, from the cooks to the cashier. All of them so positive vibes and friendly. The shoppe was clean, bathrooms were clean and available. Definitely will stop again here.

A high paced breakfast and lunch counter with something for everyone. If you blink twice you might miss this place. However once inside you will be greeted and order taken promptly. The food was priced fair and you get large portions. It’s no frills or thrills just good comfort food. I had the corned beef hash breakfast special and ordered a side of hashbrowns with onions. Everything was good except the hash browns. They lacked flavor, seasoning and they weren’t cooked through. They were entirely too crispy (which I did not ask for at all). It’s as if they threw them on the grill, never mixed them and took them off when they were super crunchy and hard. The onions were almost raw. I threw the hashbrowns away. I will definitely return to try new things just no hashbrowns
