Reservation was honored on time, despite the lobby being clogged with 49ers Football fans who were waiting to get a glimpse of the team that was staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel where this restaurant is located. The menu has a heavy tilt toward Italian cuisine and the entrees we ordered were well executed, with strong flavor profiles and served at a proper temperature, plated in an appetizing manner. The menu is simple enough and offers a Lunch Combo of Soup or Salad and 1/2 sandwich for $20. An up charge of $4 allows you to choose a smaller portion of one of their pasta dishes which was still an amazingly generous portion. One pic is the Baked Ziti Bolognese the other is the Fettuccine, both accompanied by the Beecher’s Flagship Cheese Tomato Soup. Our reason for choosing Andare was based on its proximity to The Paramount Theater and online reviews. Just about a 4 minute walk to the venue and the food was delicious. Only stumble was the service which was a bit slow and while the bar was jammed, the tables in the restaurant were less than half full. Service was still polite and efficient. They leave a bottle of water on the table so you can refill your own water, and they added an automatic 18% gratuity to the check for a party of 3, which was odd but fine. Even though the service was a bit slow, I probably would have still left 20% because the math is simple. I imagine if you were in the hotel for dinner you would be headed to Daniel’s Broiler. But if you want a tasty lunch at a reasonable price in a nice setting, this is a solid choice.

We tried the breakfast here on both a weekday and a weekend morning, and the experiences were quite different. On the weekend, the restaurant was very busy with a 30-minute wait that required signing up via Yelp. In contrast, there was no wait during the week. The staff was clearly hustling but did their best to manage the rush.
The food itself was adequate, but the menu felt limited. The buffet option was particularly basic, with a quality and selection on par with a mid-range hotel chain. For a better experience, we recommend ordering a specific dish from the à la carte menu instead of opting for the buffet.

Stopped in for lunch and sat the bar. Chris was my server and he was amazing! I ordered the lunch 2 special with the chicken sandwich and the Italian sausage soup. And let me say they were absolutely delicious! I got the relish on the side for my sandwich since I dont really like relish in general. The spicy sauce they put on the sandwich paired so well with the perfectly seasoned chicken! The chefs know what they are doing back there so shout out to them as well! I will definitely be back to try more!

Ordered the Steak*, no description of the cut or class, yet cost $40+. Asked specifically if the random sides came separately or piled in a bowl, was told they came in a “take on a charcuterie board.” All elements were indeed dumped on a bowl. It made excluding those elements I didn’t enjoy extremely difficult. Staff was great and atmosphere was fine, yet there was a single TV with basketball on. Either you have sports or not, never just sport. All told, a well White Russian was $14, so temper your expectations and grease your wallet.

Great experience here with a toddler.
The staff were incredibly friendly and doted on little Miss the whole dinner.
Portions are very generous. Our toddler got a children’s pizza… Spoiler: it’s a whole normal sized pizza with cheese baked to crispy deliciousness.
Wine wasn’t pretentiously selected but paired great. I had the spaghetti with clams and really enjoyed it.
We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel restaurant!

The spaghetti tasted like rubber. NO FLAVOR at all.
So do the salmon. Wonder how they can get so unfresh seafood in Seattle.

Italian restaurant located inside Hyatt Regency Seattle on the first floor just as you enter the building. The food was good, better than expected, especially if you like italian cuisine. Their garlic focaccia bread was delicious. The staff was not very attentive, which was not surprising given the location. The price is also on the higher end, slightly more than you would expect. Overall good experience but nothing memorable to bring you back.

My girlfriend and I grabbed drinks at this bar before going out to dinner and we loved the atmosphere and the attentive staff. The servers were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made the experience feel far more curated than a typical lounge. Our cocktails were phenomenal, particularly the Espresso Martini!

Although I wasn’t staying at this hotel for my conference, I decided to try their restaurant and had the carne pizza. It was great. I agree with past reviewers it was salty, but that’s the process of having processed meat on a pizza. The flavour was good. March Madness on a Saturday night meant it was a busy spot, but the service was great, and the people added to the fun atmosphere.

The managers Loren, Maddie, and Mark and Chef Katy accommodated gluten free, dairy free, poultry free, and hot/cooked food without salt, within my budget ($18 for lunch and dinner respectively and $12 for breakfast). They even arranged to bring ingredients to make the dishes they do not serve, to help me survive and function during a conference. Chef Katy’s clams and rice tasted wonderful. I had the clam dish every day.
Their pizza looked so good, so I tried even though that was not the arranged plan. The best gluten free and dairy free pizza I’ve ever had. They also brought the pizza on a metal plate with 2 layers to help the water from the hot pizza not make the pizza soggy. The same price for gluten free and dairy free pizza as the regular pizza ($21) is a big plus as well.
The couches were comfortable, and being able to see people making doughs was fun as well. I hope they will continue to serve gluten free and dairy free pizzas.
