I really love this place! Such good food, so many drinks choices, great wait staff! Beer was a bit slow at times but they were packed with amazing Buffalo Bills fans during Sunday game.

I had purchased a Groupon voucher for a $20 meal at this restaurant. I was aware that this restaurant created the original Buffalo Wings and that they consistently receive high ratings for their wings. I stopped by today for lunch. This is a sports bar, and they have many large screen TVs on, devoted to sports. When I thought I had purchased $20 worth the waiter informed me that today was a weekly special of $0.50 per boneless chicken bite, and I had about $5 to go before using up my voucher. I added $5 worth of additional boneless chicken bites, all with their “Original” medium wing sauce. I added an unsweetened ice tea for $3.50 and tater tots for $2.50. the waiter was friendly and attentive, as were the rest of the staff. It was worth the trip.

My wife and I decided to try something new simply because we love Truly Selzer on draft, and we found out Anchor Bar had it available. We figured we’d just grab a small appetizer or some wings—but wow, the wings were bomb.
The bartender, Micaela, was amazing: honest, super friendly, and very attentive. She even let us preview all of their sauces, and every single one was delicious. The rest of the staff was just as welcoming, especially Sarahi, who delivered our food with a big smile.
Definitely a great place to come, enjoy good food, hang out with friends, and catch a game. We’ll for sure be back.

Went with my family today! Was our first time & did not disappoint. The service was 10/10. Food was 10/10. And atmosphere was 10/10, oh and the music was a 10/10. The playground in the parking lot was super convenient for our kiddos! We will definitely be coming back!

My best friend and I had the absolute best dining experience at Anchor Bar this past Friday.
Our waitress was Shannon and she recommended several of the Mardi gras menu specials. She was attentive and kind despite it being a busy Friday night.
The real shining star of the night was the manager Sarah. My friend arrived late and the manager happened to be walking up to check on our table and my friend thought she was the waitress. The manager graciously took down our order and told us not to worry about the mistaken identity. She came back and checked on us several times throughout our meal and asked if the recommendations were tasting as good as they sounded.
This place gets very, very busy and packed and I was super surprised at the attention that we got from both the manager, our server, and several of the bus people. Everyone was very friendly, gracious, accommodating and the service experience was at least 12 out of 10 !
Let me get started on the food… The fried pickles chips not Spears, but they are seasoned to perfection and they come with a jalapeno and regular ranch. If you love fried pickles, I would definitely recommend them !
The pizza logs were very very good as well. The marinara sauce that they come with takes them to the next level .
The wings are to die for my friend and I both got flats fried hard and the flavors did not disappoint. The wings are a good size and I definitely recommend the barbecue jerk flavor. It’s different because it has a mustard base but it was absolutely deliciously unexpectedly yummy.
We had only tried Anchor bar one time before and it was a bit of a disaster, ironically one of the food busters remembered and came over to say hi. There was something weird happening with the kitchen that night and things were just off but I’m so glad we came back for a second try and I will definitely be back again and again. If you’re looking for a relaxed sports bar to spend some time at, watch a game or enjoy the breeze on the back patio, I highly recommend Anchor Bar because it is so delicious and the service is bar none!!!!! Sarahi seems to run a tight ship and really cares about the customer experience which is a rarity these days so I salute her completely. Thanks for a phenomenal dining experience!

Service was really slow from the start, it took forever to get our drinks/food & almost an hour to check out and the entire restaurant was practically empty. Both drinks ordered came out missing the garnish that It said it came with, and overall its pretty pricey. Paid $100 for 3 drinks, 18 wings & an app between 2 people. Food was tasty esp the mac n cheese balls, service could be improved but really loved all the Texans decor around the restaurant

This ended up being a rad little place to hang out with the girls right after brunch. The Astros game was on, the people were friendly, the food was made from scratch and DELICIOUS, the drinks were decently priced… We’ll most assuredly be back!

First time at this spot. The environment was all positive vibes. People we sat next to have us a left over pizza roll…. delicious . Service was absolutely incredible. “The Tour” is a must, make sure to ask about it. Generosity through the roof…. the wings and sauces were top tier… dare I say some of the best…. cold drinks friendly staff…if your in the area it’s a must to visit. Hope yall enjoy.
