Lunch today with my brother at Anant. This is my first time trying Anant. Was not crowded (Sunday about noon 30), seated immediately, no waiting, very friendly and attentive staff. Decoration in the restaurant was very nice, modern, clean and some additional private areas if desired. There is also some outside seating. For an appetizer, I ordered the veg Masala samosa. There were two samosas plated with a lovely sauce and some greens with a hint of dressing. What I loved about the samosas was the very flakey crust and the delicious spice mixture inside the samosas. The dipping sauces (a combo of green white and brown) were delicious. Previously, my favorite samosas were ones I had at The Bombay Club in Washington DC, however these at Anant today are really the best I have tried anywhere. These are my new favorite. Our entrees included kofta-a-sahib and mixed vegetable Rizala, accompanied with basmati rice and garlic naan. Absolutely loved both the rizala and the kofta; awesome deep flavors and great spice combination. I love when a chef incorporates local vegetables, which made the Rizala very special. Presentation of entrees and appetizers was beautiful. The basmati rice was extra long grain and cooked fluffy, exactly how I like. Garlic naan was delicious, especially because the chef was not afraid to use garlic; much appreciated. Overall, this was a delicious meal and a great experience. I will definitely return to try more entrees…and of course more samosas.

I loved the ambience and the food presentation. It was awesome. Food tasted awesome as well. I felt the prices and the quality and quantity was on par. It took little time to get the food. May be give something go start with rather than bringing all food together. But overall experience was good . Taste was good too. Really recommend this place for having a good affordable dinner.

I was shopping at The Container Store and figured I would treat myself to a nice sit-down meal from somewhere I had never tried. I saw this restaurant a little earlier and figured I would try it.

Awesome food, great presentation! We ordered the Tandoori Murgh Full (big plate of awesome spicy chicken) and Punjabi Goat Rasa. Both were excellent! Also the Lamb Bhuna Bhatura (not pictured) was a great start! Holly cow I wish I loved close to here. Don’t miss out on trying them.

The best tomato soup ever. So good my husband ordered some to take home, he never does that… The rest of our food was just as good as the soup. We were so happy with our experience. Our waitress Madalyn was wonderful and attentive to our dining experience. Kudos for hiring such a wonderful person who cares about the customer. The excellent food and service is why we will choose to come here again.

A very nice Indian restaurant. They make a great effort in presentations. Food was very delicious but my family preferred other places. Portions are smaller and expensive. Overall, I still enjoyed the food and the fancy platings.

It’s not often when an entree is so subpar that I would give any more than three stars, but in this case, my amazing host and my appetizers moved me to four stars.
