Pani puri – 4/5 This was really good.
Cashew chicken – 0/5 – This was from kids menu. The chicken pieces were quite hard.
Malai kofta – 0/5 – Kofta was very hard. It didn’t even taste authentic and was salty.
Lacha paratha – 4/5 This was really good. A but greasy., but good.
Cassata cake – 3/5 The base seemed stale.
For the price and quantity, I expected the food would at least taste good, but it was disappointing.

The food, especially the shrimp biryani, was divine! I was really surprised because I’ve had a lot of biryani and this one was one of the best. It was perfectly moist, filled with flavor, and truly addicting to eat. I highly recommend this place, I’m definitely going back

Absolutely top-notch! Authentic Indian flavors at the highest level – the butter chicken was creamy and perfectly spiced, the naan fresh and fluffy. Super friendly service, clean atmosphere, and generous portions that leave you satisfied. Short Pump needs more places like this! Definitely coming back!

Our first time here with a couple who comes here regularly. Everyone loved the food. Butter Chicken, Palak Paneer and an Eggplant dish whose name I can’t remember. It was awesome. Best garlic naan I’ve had in ages. The couple also had Mango Lassis, and since they’re regulars, I can only assume those are really good to. Definitely a place to return to.

Staff was very attentive when I walked in, to assist me right away. Did a lunch carry out order with veg samosa, which was good, it did not come with any dipping sauce like other locations provide. Also ordered the veg fritters, which did not come with any sauce and the whole entire thing was stale and so hard I could not even bite it, so I just tossed the entire thing in the trash, as this came without any sauce as well, which other locations provide a dipping sauce. The Dal Tadka was very good! The rice that comes with it was not seasoned, just plain rice. The soup and salad that comes with the lunch menu was also very good! The Vin-D’ ahlo was not good to me, it came with corn, peas, potatoes, and carrots mixed in it but tossed it in the trash, along with the rice that came with it. The naan bread was very good as well!

One of my favorite Indian restaurants in Richmond! Crispy veggie medley has always been a favorite over the years, but wish that there was even more cauliflower and broccoli – they almost made these veggies taste like wings. Curry is flavorful, and chili garlic naan was delicious. Dessert was an interesting take on ice cream cake.

I order take out from here reasonably often. Their butter chicken is excellent and authentic, though for the price the portion does seem to be on the smaller side. The lamb biriyani and roganjosh are decent too. And if you like it spicy, they can really make it spicy.
