Very nice atmosphere and fast service. We had dinner here and enjoyed the Calamari appetizer, Cesar Salad, Tallow Fries, and the Bolognese. They served tasty soft rolls with cinnamon butter as a starter.

The service was really fast and the place was pretty full. Our whole dinner took less than an hour. Great job!

My only issue was the Calamari was a bit too salty for me. But the breading and quality was perfect.

Great atmosphere and food. Their seasonal old fashioned is the best old fashioned I’ve ever had. Probably the best cocktail I’ve ever had. I truly hope that they make it a permanent fixture. Our server was great and seemed to be rushing about to contantly ensure his tables had everything that they needed. My only complaint is that in the two times I’ve gone they seem to be out of half of the menu. I guess that’s a good sign that the food is fresh and that they’re popular but a restaurant really shouldn’t be out of so many items by 6pm on a Saturday. Hopefully they’ll fix that longer they’re in business as they’ll have a better idea of demand for specific things.

First of all they seated our party of 2 at the tiniest table known to man. We were smashed up against a brick wall. So if you have to cram tables in just take them out of there. The drinks were good. The food was AWFUL. I read so many good reviews I had high hopes. The Caesar salad came out with whole anchovies on top, which I’ve never had served like that so I gave it a shot. Made the entire salad taste like a fishy disgusting limp lettuce extravaganza. Moving on to the bolognese, was it inedible? No. Was it canned? Yes. The scallops were sandy and also tasted off. The prices for the food were outrageous considering the quality. They need a serious overhaul in that kitchen. I feel bad leaving a review like this but some of these reviews are straight up ridiculous. “Stop what you’re doing and go here immediately” PLEASE don’t

First Amazing dinner at Amsden Station! My wife and I were fans of Vallozzi’s, though we did think it needed an update. And what update Amsden Station is! Wonderful atmosphere — cozy, warm, and gathering friendly, especially the new pub section. The two of us came hungry and enjoyed Crab Beignets, Bavarian Pretzels, The Amsden Caesar, Bluegrass Bolognese, Filet Mignon, and washed it all down with Manhattan cocktails and red wine. All were delicious with top quality ingredients in inspired combinations. Our waitress was simultaneously attentive and unobtrusive. We had a great time, highly recommend the place, and look forward to stopping in next week for a sampling of the other items on their menu. Thank You, Amsden Station Crew!

Amsden Station in downtown Versailles is hands-down my favorite place to meet with friends for dinner! The atmosphere is inviting and full of charm, making it perfect for a casual night out or a special occasion. The food is amazing—the filet is an absolute must-try, cooked to perfection, and you cannot leave without ordering the cookie skillet. It’s the perfect sweet ending and worth every bite. Friendly service, great food, and a fantastic downtown vibe. Amsden Station is a true local gem. Can’t recommend it enough!

When we first walked into the Amsden Station there were no staff to be found. It appeared there was a family that had also been waiting a while as they were sitting by the hostess stand. One server and or hostess did walk out with her iced coffee and did not say anything and turned around and went into the kitchen. The bartender then came over to us and greeted us. He was very nice and welcoming. The rest of the staff that we did encounter were a bit dull and did not seem interested in providing much hospitality.

Now for the food, we had the spinach and artichoke dip which was decent I would probably rate it a 7/10. We additionally tried the bacon and onion pizza and the bolognese. I would rate the bacon and onion pizza a 2/10 I expected it to be more flavorful as it had several ingredients that should pack a flavorful profile. Moving on to the bolognese, I would rate the bolognese a 5/10. It was a decent dish but lacked seasoning and the pasta was overcooked, typically I would prefer pasta al dente however this might be more of a personal preference for some.

Drinks were good however we did not get anything special, prices were what you would typically find in my opinion. The bartender as I stated earlier was very inviting and lively which the place needed…

As for the building, decor, ect….very beautiful and classy with a little twist.

I think that Amsden station has a lot of potential there may just need to be some kinks that need to be worked out.

I honestly don’t know where they got these reviews, this place is AWFUL. Frozen, reheated food, sandy, soggy scallops, the bolognese tasted canned. If you’re going to put whole anchovies on a Caesar salad make sure they don’t smell like they’re weeks old. The drinks were good, that’s about it. I feel scammed. They’ve got a lot of nerve with their pricing for trash food, either stick to a burger or spend a few dollars more and go to Carson’s, this place sucks.

This place is an absolute gem tucked away in the historic downtown, right next to the Amsden Bourbon Bar, and let me tell you – it’s the kind of spot that turns a regular evening into an unforgettable experience.
