Update: It is now permanently closed. Despite my best efforts to have Google make the change- it does not seem it will for now.
Left half is family and the right side is for the bar and only for over 21. So if you have a kid then you gotta sit on the left half of the restaurant, but you can still order beer from the family side.
The time we were there, another table was occupied by a low life cursing profanity with his kid in front…f this, f that, so the ambience was horrible until I told him to refrain from using those words. He was already drunk when he came in and the waitress didn’t mind nor retrained him from using those words or even not serve anymore beer.
Great food but they should control their customers for the sake of the other customers.
We started with hot wings and potato skins…pretty typical appetizer, but the thing that made it a hit for me is the the bleu cheese/Gorgonzola dressing used for dipping the wings…omg Yum! They have fresh made bread and a vinaigrette/oil for dipping available upon request. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND MAKE THIS REQUEST!! For my entree, I chose the rib eye. Now, I’ve got a favorite steak place already, so I was skeptical it would be prepared to my liking but yet again, surprise! It was perfectly medium/rare and the flavor on point. I requested bleu cheese crumbles be encrusted on the top. The waitress was a lil, “well I dunno if we do that”, but she and the cook made it happen. I asked my waitress to give my compliments to the chef and I hope she did.
I gave four stars instead of 5 because my husband ordered the perch and his complaint was that it was not breaded enough or cooked long enough as the crust was not at all golden or brown. I ordered the cherry cobbler for dessert, however, it was more of a pie than cobbler, but I still enjoyed it.
All in all, it was a great experience, and for those who care, social distancing and mask wearing measures are in place. All patrons wore masks going to or leaving their tables as well…thank you for caring about others as well as yourselves!
Premium prices for mediocre food. Both the potato skins and twice baked had SO much onion, it was all you could taste. No lemon flavor whatsoever in the lemon rice soup. They had the AUDACITY to charge $38 for a steak special that you can get for $10 at a mom and pop diner. THIN AND FATTY.
The waitress did her best. She was new, and that’s fine. But we were told that the owners SPECIFICALLY instruct them to not tell the prices of the specials. Shady shady shady.
