A phenomenal experience. We’ve heard excellent things about Amrina for months, so we were excited for the meal. We took advantage of the Houston Restaurant Weeks Menu and I’m so happy we made sure to do so, as the price point is higher than we typically like to spend. Now that we know it’s absolutely worth it, we’ll be sure to keep it in mind for special occasions. The Chaat was so deeply flavored with surprising punches from the potatoes and a perfect crisp to the kale. The Tiger Prawns were HUGE and the two sauces they were served with were powerful in their own right. My husband preferred the pepper jam and I preferred the moilee espuma. We ordered the butter chicken and prawn curry for our main course. The prawn curry was rich and so smooth. The butter chicken was the star of the two. What stood out was its punch of heat that really awakened our taste buds. The garlic naan was crisp with a soft center and if I’d had more of it, I would’ve scooped up every last drop the of the curry sauces with it. The dal Makhani was thick and full of flavor, too. We shared the Panna Cotta, a liquory flavored cool dessert that was a nice ending to a rich meal, and the Marsala Chai Marble Cake, an earthy and textured cake that I would’ve liked to let sit with the ice cream on top of to allow it to soak into the cake some. Alas, I had not the patience. Our server, Raj, was a delight, ready to make suggestions based on our preferences and dietary requirements, and explained the chef’s vision as we were served each course. His team was also a pleasure. Our neighbors were celebrating a birthday and the sparkler celebration at dessert was truly beautiful and unique. Another huge plus for us, as non-drinkers, is that they offer 2 mocktails. The mango lemonade was thicker than I expected, more mango than lemonade, but fit the flavor level of the experience and I’d order it again. My husband ordered the Shinkaji Mule : very light and spicy with a Fall flavor to it, as is right with a Mule. A wonderful experience in a beautiful location. Note: we parked in the hotel garage closest to the restaurant. Our server asked for our ticket and the validation covered our time in the garage. (ie. free parking)

Amazing experience. I’ve never had really good Indian food before and while some of this might be a fusion of other types of food, the presence of Indian spices are definitely there. What an explosion of flavors.

We visited Amrina for our first time to celebrate our anniversary. It is in a great location…close to the waterway in The Woodlands. Great atmosphere with live music on the weekend. The service was exceptional and the food was great. The manager stopped by to chat and make sure the food and service were to our liking.

Wonderful experience! Gorgeous restaurant with excellent service and an amazing wine list. We started with the tuna tartare which was good but we found the salmon roe to be just a bit overpowering. I opted for a glass of an older Barolo that was drawn via Coravin ensuring the wine was fresh. For dinner we had the sea bass and lamb chops. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and placed on a bed of greens and surrounded by a coconut curry sauce. On the top was a foam that dramatically enhanced the flavor. It was wonderful. The lamb chops were even better. The sauce was the best I’ve ever had and contained what I think were pieces of crispy eggplant that complimented it perfectly. We also had the wagyu kulcha, garlic naan, and yogurt which were all perfect. After dinner I selected one of their five Madeiras, a 2000 vintage, from the middle of the list. Overall a wonderful experience. We will be back soon and with guests!

This place is pretty good. We did the tapas tasting and the highs were good but the lows were just bad – the bhel puri was very soft which is something easy to fix. The highs were good like the gollgapa, the taco, and the popsicle.

Truly an amazing experience at this restaurant. The interior decor is nicely done, and is warm and inviting. When you sit down and the waitress unfolds the napkin for you, you already know they’re running at a higher level! It is an Indian inspired menu, traditional American fare served with a lot of Indian flavors. I wouldn’t even call it fusion because that’s not what it really is. The chef has taken a lot of time to think through layering flavors from different cuisines to make something that is truly original. We tried the appetizer chaat/salad and tiger prawns and ostrich shish kebabs. The chaat was exceptional. We were not a fan of the ostrich kebabs because it didn’t have much of an Indian flavor or a grilled/char taste to it. For the mains we had bone in ribeye and jackfruit biryani to share between three people. The ribeye was tender and flavorful with Indian masala rub and the jackfruit biryani, which is a vegetarian option was amazing and delicious and I cannot put it into words. And for dessert we had the marble cake with a milk ice cream and a 30 year old port. I have no complaints about any of the cocktails or the food items that we ate. This is a place that you would want to bring a foodie or an out of town visitor for a really nice meal.

We have eaten Indian all over the world, including India, and this was hands-down, the most creative presentation and delicate balanced desi food I’ve ever had.

Great experience from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The food, service, and atmosphere is great and a lot different from other places. My wife got the fillet and I got the beef short rib. We’re definitely going to have try the tapas section of the restaurant when we go back. Thank you Raul and Preet for the suggestions.

Had a lovely meal here. The staff was knowledgeable and very attentive. The Tuna Tartar appetizer was delicious. The Branzino and Beef Shortribs were amazing. The Brussels Sprouts Froograth was decent. Had the Cardamom Chocolate Mousse and the Pistachio Rose Cake. Both were very good. Coffee was warm but not hot and had a few grounds in it. We’ll go again for sure.

The service was great. We had a party of 7 and the server did a good job keeping up with us. The drinks were great. We ordered a lot of food to share and everything was delicious. The exotic mushrooms with spinach was my favorite. They had live music playing and the band was amazing! Great atmosphere
