Open and clean restaurant with a ton of pizza options. Just know that pizzas are made to order so might take a little longer than you think. We got the thin crust which is the quickest cook time. The onion rings and calamari were super good.

First time at ‘Amore Taste of Chicago’ on Sunset, for us. We ordered an anti pasta salad and a small, 1/2 sausage & 1/2 pepperoni pizza. The salad was very good, the Italian dressing was very good, meat was uniquely prepared and complimented the selection of fresh salad ingredients. The salad was a generous portion. The small, thin crust pizza was cooked just right, sliced into small sections – great for sharing. ‘Amore’ offers a good selection of draft beers. The beer I ordered was served cold in a ‘traditional’ beer glass. We dropped in on Monday evening around 7:30 PM and sat at the bar. Great selection of baseball and hockey programs on the multiple big screen TVs (emphasis on Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs – who doesn’t like ‘the Cubbies’?) A few groups in the restaurant this particular evening with children. The noise level was not bad – there is a small room to the back of the dining room and that’s where the kids were gathered. Samantha (working behind the bar) provided very responsive, attentive service. As the couple next to us left, they provided Samantha with a extra gratuity for especially good service. I’m sure she earned it. We will certainly return to ‘Amore Taste of Chicago’ soon.

Not what we expected. Pizza was nothing like a Chicago Pizza. Wings were on the tough side. The pastrami sandwich is nothing like a traditional pastrami sandwich. This thing comes on a Bun (go figure). Staff was not too attentive. Did not have a crowd. Had to get up and get our own drink & water. They have a patio area for dining, but no seating. Parking lot is medium size no trouble finding a spot. Handicap parking right up front by entrance.
