We had a late dinner as we were passing through town. Ordered an Italian salad and a large Veggie Special pizza. The owner, who served us, was friendly and brought our meal in a short time. My husband and son enjoyed the heaping salad, which included mushrooms, tomatoes, mozzarella, olives, red onions, and cucumbers. The veggies on the pizza (red and yellow onions, broccoli, green peppers, and mushrooms) tasted very fresh and the crust was good. I’ve read the negative reviews and can’t agree because we ate “in” and service was quick. The restaurant itself is nothing special but it was neat & clean, we were happy to find a place that was open late and we enjoyed our meal.

I went there with my infant son and everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Pizza was delicious, festive, and had never ending toppings! Garlic knots are out of this world! My family lives out of the area and we make the trip out just for this place!

We have ordered from here previously and This is already our second bad experience. The food is not the best but far from bad but the experiences we have had here leave a bad taste in our mouth. This time We ordered a total of 3 items along with delivery service. 1 item was correct, one item was over charged, and the last was not delivered. The Owner was delivering this day and dropped of the order initially where we paid the bill , plus the delivery charge, plus a tip. We noticed the 1 overcharged meal, and the other meal that was missing so the owner came back. The owner wanted to charge another delivery charge. This obviously led to a disagreement that would eventually conclude with the owner slamming our door and giving us the middle finger once outside in her car. I can confidently say we are very disappointed with the offensiveness and lack of professionalism from a business owner and we will not be ordering from here anymore.

We ordered 4 pizza’s at work last night. Called in at 4:30 and specifically told them it needed to arrive at 6 pm (work second shift and only get a 1/2 hour dinner break). $57 order was 10 minutes late and the pizzas were a mess. The delivery gut said he tripped. They offered us new food but that wasnt what the issure. We only had 15 minutes to eat the wrecked pizzas. When i called they offered us 15 dollars of our next order! Really??! No, there wont be a next time.

Placed an order for my family at 5:15 was told it would be 40 mins for delivery. Called again at 6:30 was told the driver was on his way (i dont live far from alpha)and assured my food would still be warm. Called again at 6:58 food was still not here was AGAIN told he should be there any minute and warm at which point i expressed my disappointment. Told them it was my 1st and last time ordering from them. Owner said he was sorry but it was a big order (I’m sorry other restaurants don’t have a problem delivering on time) so he says he will give me percentage off my NEXT order. I again, explained it would be my last. The person hung up on me!!! My food then arrived 5 minutes later and guess what….NOT warm atball

First time ordering I got the grandma pie with extra cheese and sausage and wow it was amazing!! So delicious with amazing flavor!!! Idk what grandma pie is suppose to taste like but I will never need to try a different one than annabels!! Garlic bread with cheese was actually really bad but I didn’t care because pizza was so good!! Fast delivery too!!!

Last three times i ordered food was cold or messed up. Orderef fries n chicken fingers and the sauce i asked not to send (honey mustard) due to allergy was spilt all over the platter. Had to toss it. Also had a $6 Credit thst was applied and showed on receipt but was still charged the amount before that credit.. Never again will i order here again

Since moving to the Alpha area over a year ago we have religiously ordered from Annabel’s Pizza. We ordered at least once a week and on many occasions twice and three times a week (don’t judge us). Their food is pretty good and we’ve never had much of an issue with the service. We liked that we could order online and not have to fuss with the phone. A couple of months ago we stumbled on a gem- a stuffed chicken penne vodka pizza. Delicious!!! We ordered it again a few weeks later and were disappointed that we got a regular crust pizza with chicken penne vodka. Unfortunately, their website was down so we attributed it to human error. No big deal, right? We’d been ordering from this place for a year and everything was great. Last night we decided we were going to get the pizza again. We ordered online, the pizza came in the deep box and we were stoked! We opened our beloved pizza and inside was a deep dish pizza with chicken penne vodka on it. My husband tried it (hated it) but being that it was the second time it had gone wrong we decided to call and try to get it fixed. I was thinking maybe they could just pick it up and refund our money since we ordered a second pizza and it was getting late. When my husband called the restaurant, someone who presented themselves as the owner answered the phone. After describing the issue, the owner explained to him that she made the pizza herself and that her menu was accurate and that the pizza we ordered was not a stuff crust pizza, it was stuffed penne on top of pizza. She said she had stuffed the noodles herself. Um…who stuffs a tiny penne noodle lol? And why could we see through the noodle? She procedure to argue about what the term “stuffed” means…never mind the fact that we had received a stuffed pizza from them in the past. She told him that if he wanted the pizza he was describing that he would need to specially request it (even though it’s on their online menu). They argued back and forth and she told him that he was being ridiculous for not wanting a new pizza. Thankfully New Jersey is chalked full of pizza places. So much for customer service. I will miss Annabel’s but I wont support a business that treats a good customer like trash, especially gluttonous pizza lovers who have dished out a large sum of money over the year.

The online ordering set up is not as customer friendly as other restaurants. Even though the “special instructions” provided to them were simple, they informed us that they were unclear and gave us a hard time when it came to fixing our order. Only after going back and forth with them for approximately 15 minutes, they offered to deliver a replacement item, and though the original order took only about 30 minutes to be delivered, the replacement went well over an hour before we decided to call back. Upon calling, we were told that the driver just left to bring the replacement item. As a result of this terrible experience, we decided to request a refund and returned the entire order only to find that there were additional undefined charges (approximately $25.00 over the authorized amount). Once the transactions posted, I found that they only gave a partial refund and not a full refund. I have since filed a dispute with my CC provider.
