Amo Sami Shawarma was recommended to us by a friend, and I’m so glad I decided to stop by on my way home from work. It’s located inside a gas station, but don’t let that fool you — there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!
From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich with extra garlic sauce and extra pickles… and oh my God — it was the most delicious shawarma sandwich I’ve ever had. Seriously, it felt like heaven.
The chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. The bread was perfectly toasted and somehow lightly seasoned, which made it even better. Every bite was amazing — the garlic sauce, the pickles, everything was perfectly balanced.
Super delicious, highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back very soon!

Delicious shawerma! Genuinely some of the best shawerma I’ve ever had in my life. Soo flavorful, juicy, and crispy on the outside. Very generous portion, I would say bigger than a foot-long. So glad they opened one here in Warren!!

I wanted to give this place a better review, but a combination of things led me to only give 2. The place is inside BP with a bar seating, we ordered one beef and one chicken, waited about 20 mins. Not gonna lie the sandwichs are big, but its not actual shawerma (its not the typical sliced meat, its more like fried pieces of meat- see pics), it tasets ok, and its pricey. Their service is not bad, the bathroom is nasty, and their pop machine “was broken” so no drinks which means you have to go int the gas station to grab a drink (a smart way to spend more money there). We were were excited to try it out as there isnt lots if Lebanese restaurans in the area but unfortunately we got disappointed, not going there again.

Now I kept seeing this place on tic toc I thought they were down in midtown like near downtown but it actually Dearborn . Any who the food is off thee chain So Sorry Bucharest we had our time but there’s a New Sheriff in town and on my list. Gotta bring my kids here to eat they are going to love it. Life changing experience having the Beirut Sammie (pictured), Tarek especially was very welcoming and accommodating! His recommendation was highly appreciated and throughly approved my friend ordered lemon pepper fries and they were delicious! Definitely make sure you try this place out!

Came here because of all the hype online. They were out of half the sandwiches which usually means the food is excellent so that didn’t even disappoint. Decided on the beef shawarma and the amo sammi with a side of fries. We didn’t get a specific eta on the wait but didn’t think anything of it because how long could they take to make two shawarma’s … about 40 mins later we received our food. The price point was a little high ($40+ for two shawarma’s and one fries) but you get a lot of food since the shawarmas are long. Fries were decent, wish there was a little more salt. Beef shawarma was solid, a little greasy but not bad, just not super flavorful. The amo sammi didn’t have much flavor at all but we didn’t get the coleslaw in it so that may have been on us. But still, coleslaw shouldn’t carry a sandwich flavor wise. Both were just okay. The garlic dip tasted like they used like 50% of how much garlic is traditionally used, so it was also lacking in flavor. Definitely wouldn’t come out of my way for again or spend that much money on shawarma.

Love samis ive been eating samis for years always great service, food is always fresh.I just left from the warren location. I wanted to try this one out because I feel like all of them should taste the same. My beef Shawarma is great but my chicken Shawarma has no toum..full of meat i didn’t even finish it

Saw a video on facebook saying that the Shawarma here was amazing, and i can confirm that it is, in fact AMAZING. I got the Beirut Sammie and lemon pepper fries. It had grilled chicken, cabbage, pickles, tomatoes, and garlic sauce, and it was by far one of the best shawaramas i have had, and it might even surpass Bucharest Grill…..
Tarek was very warm, and welcoming, and pointed both my friend and i in the right direction of what to order.
Definitely come visit! Seating is limited but even if you take it to go, its 10000% worth it!!

If i didn’t respect small businesses trying to make it big id probably rate lower .
That being said I waited like 15 minutes for 2 sandwiches at an empty restaurant.
Then it was over cooked all the outside seasoning was burnt. Appeared slightly darker than what I seen online .
Its a bigger shawarma then other place but it’s also twice the price. Maybe the Dearborn location would be better . But still hard to justify a 15 dollar shwarma
