What a gem to find in an unlikely little strip mall. The food tastes fresh, it’s tasty, the staff are super friendly, and the space itself is nice and relaxing.
I wish I lived closer, but I’ll be back regardless. This restaurant is top tier. Take a look at the photo of the spring rolls I’m posting. You see those? You can easily tell that they actually made those spring rolls in-house.
Oh, and the Thai tea was a real treat, too.

A Must-Try in Punta Gorda!
My wife and I stopped in for lunch and had an outstanding experience. We ordered the Okinawa Roll and the Duo Roll lunch special — both were incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The flavors were delicious, and everything was beautifully presented.
Our server was excellent — extremely friendly and very attentive throughout the meal. I’ve been here several times before, but this was my wife’s first visit. I wanted to share the experience with her, and she absolutely loved it!
We’ve officially added this to our list of favorite go-to restaurants in Punta Gorda. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Start with the Garlic Edamame. Delicious! And I’m not even a huge fan of Japanese food! But their Edamame is great. And Orange Chicken I could eat over and over! It’s a small restaurant (next to Sherwin Williams Paint) tucked away in a small plaza (Towles Plaza) on rt41 in Punta Gorda, FL. If you like Japanese food… try this restaurant and you’ll be happy you did!!

Had lunch here. Everything was delicious and very fresh. The service was wonderful.
Highly recommend the miso soup, it’s a cut above the rest & super flavorful. Tastes homemade. I also enjoyed the sushi and roll lunch combo (see photo) All of that delicious fresh sushi, dumplings & soup for $15. My friend had lunch portion of chicken teriyaki, it was also a large portion. I also really enjoyed the coconut water. Highly recommend!

After the original owner retired a year ago, it was such a pleasure to see that Amimoto’s has returned under new ownership. The menu is now a combination of the original Amimoto’s menu and new Thai inspired dishes. The sushi was excellent, and we really enjoyed some of the new menu items, especially the fried rice. We look forward to coming back to try more of the menu.
