New Century is a little “diamond in the rough.” We were on vacation and desperate enough for Chinese food to try out a place in the hills of Vermont.
What we found is a cozy atmosphere with good service. The food was fresh and quite tasty. Parking is ample and it’s around the corner from charming shops and restaurants. You never know when you’ll find a pleasant surprise but this was one of them.

I had the letter D, cames wuth 2 teriyaki chicken & beef, chicken fingers with vegetable fried rice instead of pork fried rice. Substitutions are no problem. The service as always was amazing. Checked un serval times and handled my requests fast & courteously. Very polite! The atmoshpere was quiet and peaceful with a single tv showing the baseball game. I definitely recommend New Century to anyone looking for a great experience and meal at a fair price.

So far, I think this is the best restaurant in saint transbury. It is really delicious food. We got a hundred dollars worth of takeout, but it’s all worth it. Best quality. I’ve seen yet.

Best Chinese food I’ve had as a vegetarian in the US. Taste was authentic, they had a wide variety of fully vegetarian dishes, interiors were so warm, cozy and homely, their complimentary tea was well prepared and not too dilute or bitter, the servers were super friendly, accommodating and patient, and the food preparation was super quick and delicious too. Would 100% recommend their appetizers, soups noodle dishes for vegetarians!

Amazing restaurant, has been here for years, best Chinese food in Caledonia county, the indoor is great, the food is great, never made me sick. The food is a little pricey but the portions are very good on most items. The staff is great to you. If you only ever get Chinese as take out I implore you to eat in. It’s worth it
