This was my first time coming to American Social and I enjoyed myself, not to mention it was Mother’s Day. Due to this, we had a reservation so we were seated immediately. Mom’s received some special gifts which I was appreciative of. The menu was pretty short and simple so it was easy to choose something. For apps, we ordered the don’t holes, which were so good. For my entrée, I opted for the Hot chicken sliders initially, but they were a bit too hot for me, so if you like it spicy by all means it was still delicious. I ended up devouring the steak and eggs and it was so good . The vibes were good and our waitress Hailey was the best! She was attentive, apologetic, and just so sweet, and she kept the mimosa coming. I definitely recommend this spot if you are in the Las Olas area of Ft Lauderdale.

This review is based on the cocktails – we stopped here a few days ago to try out some cocktails during happy hour. I really enjoyed the Tiki Rita (Espolòn Blanco, Aperol, Passion Fruit, Lime, Pineapple, & Tropical Salt) and the Moka-Spresso Martini (Grey Goose, Tempus Fugit Crème de Moka, Owen’s Nitro-Infused Espresso, Shaved Chocolate). Will definitely be back to try out the food and other cocktails.

Came in for lunch. We ordered one round of drinks. My Bellini was delicious and packed a strong punch. For food, we ordered the mahi sandwich, smash burger, and the shrimp cakes. My shrimp cakes were the best thing on the table by far. The burger was also very juicy and flavorful as well as the mahi sandwich. The fries were a little too greasy—especially the truffle oil fries. Service was okay. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. Everyone was nice. Ambiance is a little less exciting than brunch or dinner nights.

First time checking out because we’re from out of town and were looking for someplace that was still open close to the hotel for food after 12. Seems to be a pretty popular place because the interior of the bar was super packed so my girl and I chilled outside. We were seated right away but took a few minutes to place a drink and food order to go. The server was cheerful and nice tho when she arrived and apologized for the wait not being notified that she had persons in her section. The food came quickly but the drinks took a minute I guess because of the influx of persons in the bar. I got a margarita and my girl got a Guinness but my margarita instead of being salted had sugar in the rim instead. Didn’t make a fuss about it but I did let the server know. Nice spot tho, parked on the street and paid the parking meter to be safe. We would check out again at a less busy time to actually check the inside next time.

Walking down the street Las Olas, we got many recommendations to eat at American Social, it was the best decision ever… Food is delicious and the stuff is super kind. Recommended.
