Wow. Wow. Wow. The American Burger is incredible (nearly broke my jaw tying to get it into my mouth). The pastrami is the best around. It is better than the competition. The service was great. The atmosphere is great. Just great. Very tasty food. Try it you’ll like it.

The food was cold and burnt. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers a large fry and a large onion ring. They give you the food in a brown sealed box so you can’t see the quality of the food before you leave. When we got home we were pretty disappointed. We were able to microwave the burgers which made them Ehhhh but the fries and onion rings were beyond repair. I am not sure why they would even give such overcooked and burnt food to their customers.

I absolutely love the variety of food and size you can get. I got the mushroom and Swiss burger and the thing I have to complain about is that the tomatoes were soggy and the diced onions I was not a fan of. My daughter got a grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese was not melted thoroughly as it should have been. The fries are perfect for me and tastes amazing. Overall I think it is a good place to eat but if it’s out of your way you can easily go to Apollo Burger/Astro Burger just as easily.

The bleu burger had good reviews so I ordered it with bacon. There was very little flavor at all. I thought a char grilled burger with bleu cheese would be packed with flavor. The bacon was thin and also flavorless from being overcooked.
I got a side of fried mushrooms and the breading is so thin it’s just stuffy from the mushroom inside. The fries are just a standard McDonalds French fry, kinda dry inside and hard outside.

Edit: As noted in my first review, my initial experience here was terrible. The company reached out to me and were more then amazing in trying to remedy the situation. I decided to try them again and I’ve now been two additional times which were worlds above my first experience. Based off the companies reception to my first review and my food experiences since, I’d gladly dine with them again.
First and last time eating here. I had really high hopes as this place is within walking distance of where I live and I Love pastrami burgers. This was by FAR the skimpy’est pastrami burger EVER. I had one teeny tiny slice of pastrami. If I can figure out how to post a picture you’ll see. Also the fries were not cooked… they gave my half cooked soggy potatoes.. gross! First time the wife and I threw away an entire bag of fries. After a few bites of her jalapeño burger she suggested we go back (since it’s so close) and ask for a refund.

Packing For Adventure
We’ve been here multiple times since they opened, and the food is always fresh and delicious. I’ve tried several burgers as well as the Greek food. My favorite has been the blue burger. The shakes are also pretty good, we’ve come just for shakes before. The only thing I’ve had that I didn’t like was the Greek Salad. It tasted fine, but it includes whole kalamata olives, pit and all. It’s really unappetizing to bite into a pit in your olive. I don’t know if that was a mistake or if that is really how it’s supposed to be served, but it was enough for me to not want to try ever again. But everything else has been great! It’s clean and the staff is friendly. Definitely one of our go to places.

This was my first experience at American Burgers and I was sad that it wasn’t great. Granted I didn’t get a burger, so maybe I need to give it a second try. I got a chicken and fries basket and some mozzarella sticks to share among a few other people, and I was underwhelmed that for about $11 I got two chicken tenders, some fries, and four mozz sticks. It would be one thing if the food had been amazing, but the fries (though warm and with good texture) lacked any kind of flavor. They were pretty blah. The chicken was also lacking in flavor and substance, and were fatty. The mozz sticks were ok, but nothing special, and the marinara they serve with them is awful. Herriman is in need of good places to eat, and I’m bummed that A.B. was so lackluster.

I’ve had the American burger as well as the blue burger and I think I like them both a lot. The bacon is nice and fresh, not too crispy like other places.
I didn’t care for the french fries much. They seemed a bit dry and not salty enough but of course I just salted myself.
The lemon rice for a side was OK. I haven’t tried the gyro but after looking at the pre-cut slices I don’t know if I will unless I’m in a pinch for Greek food. I prefer the gyro meat to be on a spit and cut off right as I order it.
The burgers are very good and service is friendly.
Update: The owner was right, the pork kabobs were really good. Great portion of meat and perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Good burger and fries, not amazing… but think about this – this 1/2# double cheeseburger, fries and drink cost $1.50 less than the same meal at McDs. They were fast and service was great. Also, the dining room is open so I can eat like a real human being, at a table, instead of on the move like a frightened animal. I’ll eat here again for sure.

This place reminds me of Apollo Burger or Burger Supreme, just as good (or better). The restaurant is very clean and I like the layout. They have a super fast drive-thru. You may just think diner food, but this place has some killer Greek food options. The kids meals have suckers in them which was a hit with my kiddos. All of their sides are crispy delicious (get the onion rings). The shakes are massive! Lots of mix-and-match flavors. The staff was really friendly and efficient. Family friendly for sure.
