Do NOT purchase insurance from this company. I honestly believe it is illegal how they handle insurance claims. They tend to intentionally draw out claims and WILL give you false information in order for you to give up on your claim. The people are not lying. There HAS to be fraudulent activity going on here. I’m calling the BBB and a few IL lawyers. This company is stealing peoples money. They told me they couldn’t claim the “no insured driver” because they couldn’t confirm who the owner was. But the plate information was given in the police report. It seems as if they have a script of false info to give to people trying to get their claims paid because everyone in the reviews has had the same problem. These people are liars and thieves.

if i could give zero stars i would. these people kept my car for 2 months & its not even fixed properly. the tow person cracked my bumper, chipped my paint & its a piece of medal handing under my car by my tire. i had to do all the work, get the police report, set up my own tow, call them & follow up cause there were not calling me. they make you pay for your rental & tow out of pocket & they reimburse you when they feel like it. they never tell you what all you need you have to get to the next step in your process. never have i had an insurance company like this, take you hard earned money somewhere else. please run as fast as you can from American alliance

I have to warn everyone, do not consider this company for Insurance. They are by far the worst Insurance Casualty Company. If you have an accident, expect to have the worse service experience, there is no regards to customer service. This place is a joke! My daughter got into an accident 5/25/2023 submitted a claim and managed to get her car into a shop on 7/3 the auto shop submitted for a supplement on 7/5 and they supposedly offer a 10 day rental, which is useless!! It is now 7/19 and my daughter is yet to hear on the supplement. If it wasn’t for me calling every day to Alliance…long wait calls and no replies from the Adjuster, such poor service. Even the Auto shop has not had a reply and approval. FAIR WARNING! You wont have a car to commute for over a month!!!!! NO one deserves this service. I will make sure to contact Corporate and give them a summary of the experience we received. I will also follow with BBB it needs to be known that this place should not be in business… Guarantee that I will make sure that word of mouth carries heavily on the service of this company. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME TO THIS CASUALTY COMPANY.

This is literally the worst insurance company on the planet I think. I was hit by their insured and I cannot possibly say enough poor things about this place. Customer service is awful. I waited on hold for 4 hours the day following my accident. Then waited over a week before calling them back for more info (thought I’d try to be patient). Called them at 8:29 am (they opened at 8:30 am) and waited on hold for 30 minutes to be transferred to a voicemail and received no call back. I’m honestly not even sure how they are in business.

Absolutely horrible company. One of their insured hit me and I’ve been trying to ge them to pay for car repairs for over a month. I just got a letter in the mail saying they’re not paying for anything because their insured wasn’t giving them additional information and there’s no coverage??? NOT MY PROBLEM. Don’t even get me started on how I was on hold for over an hour, transferred four times, one of the employees had me mixed up with someone else, and then I finally talked to someone who maybe knew what they were doing. This is absolutely asinine.

This is the worst insurance company ever, you do not hold to your word. I have been calling since 6/17 to get ahold of someone regarding our claim, Every time I call I speak to different agents no one helps at all. On top of that my so called adjuster who is suppose to handle my claim is not doing anything I have not heard from them. I will be consulting with an attorney. Its urgent that someone reaches out to me and my husband. If I have to go through the social media outlet I will. remember you do not want to have a bad reputation that you already do. In this age social media can either make you or break you. My car is still in the lot! you have no refunded our money for the rental. Your adjusted has not called me at ALL!. I have called multiple times waited on hold for 2-3 hours taking time from my work. We pay you monthly! you should be facilitating our case, and making the proper calls and handling our claim with the other insurance. I will continue to call everyday every hour until I get someone who has decent customer service and will answer my questions. Looks like I may taking a quick trip to Rosemont to speak to someone personally.

This is THEE WORST & sorriest insurance company! I’ve had them for 8 years and was relieved when I finally dropped them. It took them a month and a half to write the estimate on my car and another month to get my car moved to the shop. The representatives are rude and give out misinformation. I randomly got a cancellation notice for my policy which coincidentally stated it was requested by me the day of the accident. When I called they stated it was an error and couldn’t tell me how or why that happened. They also wipe the google reviews clean so you won’t see how many bad reviews they receive. There’s something super shady going on here. You can’t speak with a supervisor or the adjuster at all which I also find to be ridiculous. They also work with shady shops as well. I seriously regret ever giving this company my money throughout the years! If you’re considering insurance with these people please think again. I guarantee you’ll find better.

If you can avoid using this company, please do. They make the process much more difficult and drawn out than it has to be. You will not get your car back anytime soon. This company will purposely misquote you and draw out this process to the extent you’ll just want to end your coverage. You wait on hold forever just to get an update on your case, and are not allowed a direct extension to speak to an adjuster about the details of your case. Slowest and most unprofessional company, and WE pay THEM for a service that they can hardly manage to provide.

Do not ever get insurance through this company. My car was totaled in February. Hit and run right by my house. Firstly the quoted my accident around 3,000 worth of damage while intentionally leaving out parts etc. they also quoted me for used airbags and seatbelts. They then told me they would only accept a estimate for my damages from Procision Auto Body. It was the closet to me. Procision was backed up for several months. They were not able to assess my car until April. shortly after my vehicle arrived to the body shop they communicated to this insurance company my vehicle was totaled. When they finally decided to total my vehicle I still was never contacted every time I called this company I was put on hold for hours and the only communication I received came from a phone call I made. I am in the process of still waiting for the settlement check to be disbursed despite them having process of my vehicle and all necessary documentation. Please do not go to this company! They will drag their feet to you.

I wish I could give them 0/5 stars, this is by far the worst insurance company to ever exist. The fact that my previous review was removed by google is laughable. This is the second time I have had to contact this company’s claims department and the second time I’ve been on hold for over 2 hours. NEVER EVER GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY, Even if you need SR-22 insurance there are other companies who actually pay out claims, American Alliance on the other hand will always play the waiting game until you fold so they don’t have to pay out and can pocket every penny you pay them. They have maybe 3 employees total and thousands of customers so if you need help with anything other than signing up for a policy with them, GOOD LUCK!
