Good food. But don’t order the tuna for dinner. 9 small pieces of tuna. Bonefish Grill appetizer has more tuna than this place. It was $36, and I would’ve felt ripped off at $21.00.

Great experience at Amalia Café in Miami Beach ☀️

Martin is always kind and attentive — it’s a real pleasure to be welcomed by him every morning. The interior décor is soft and relaxing, and the terrace on Collins Avenue is perfect for enjoying the Miami sunshine.

I truly enjoyed having breakfast here every morning during my stay. Highly recommended!

Did NOT have a good experience at this Cafe. The men who serviced us were very rude! They acted like they did not want to be bothered. They were very curt when we asked questions about the pastries. I ordered coffee and clerk poured half cup of creamer in my cup. They only fill the cup to half full….. If you are in the service industry, act like you enjoy your job and be courteous to everyone. Miami has a lot of options to choose from. We did not have to service this business. They obviously did not appreciate our business. I will never go there again!!!!! Nasty, rude, people. Horrible service!

Update!

As of February 2026: Amalia has non alcoholic beer! My sibling was able to enjoy his meal and have a beer during our 5 day stay at Lennox in 2026!

I have changed my review stars but will keep the original wording as it is a testament of progress!

Original review below:

I stayed at Lennox for 5 nights in February 2025, I really love that the hotel has this restaurant as it is convenient.

Overall the food was delicious and the service was good. My brother and I enjoyed lunch, dinner and a brunch on 3 separate occasions during our stay.

I’ve come to accept that sometimes service industry lacks respectful, engaging service that is empathetic and meaningful. During our second visit for dinner, since this establishment doesn’t offer non alcoholic beer we decided to bring our own as we had done so just 2 days prior, with the okay from a staff member at the restaurant. For some reason on this occasion it was not okay and OUT OF NOWHERE comes an over excited waitress? and tells us to put the non alcoholic beer away or they can lose their liquor license. This is understandable, but had she said it POLITELY it would have made all the difference.

Imagine a VETERAN who fought for our rights, someone who gives back to his community, is an amazing hard working human and is enjoying a vacation SOBER, truly making his life better and some witch comes out to ruin it all.

It was truly horrible.

Needless to say, I didn’t get this woman’s name but I messaged the Instagram page and was given some more explanations and then offered a non alcoholic beer to ask for during our next visit, which turns out they didn’t even have.

My goal in life is to treat others with dignity and respect, to use empathy and active listening to support others and empower them. My experience here didn’t reflect any of that, I know I shouldn’t expect much from a dinning experience but if you hold your silverware, plates, food and restaurant to such a high standard why don’t you train your staff better? They can then enjoy an extra tip and the feeling that we truly want to be nice to each other.

My review reflects that the service here is terrible and that it affected the atmosphere for my experience and at least the food was great! As someone who dines out a lot, I will go to an okay restaurant that has great service because FOOD SHOULD BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER NOT TEAR THEM APART.

As a Chilean born woman who came to this country for a better life and during this time of much uncertainty, I hope this review can help Amalia work on leveling up their service, maybe make it as polished and pretty as your silverware.

I’ll start by saying their stuffed burrata is the best I’ve ever had. They also have a genuinely euphoric Euphoria Spritz which my friend ordered multiple times during our stay at the Lennox. The atmosphere is a lovely floral-cute-chic vibe and they have nice indoor and covered outdoor seating. The service is very attentive (perhaps a bit too much) and the food is overall delicious with decent portions. One thing to note: we were not verbally notified about the automatic 20% gratuity (though it is listed on the bill), so just FYI for everyone else who might be the type to still be deep in conversation while paying

Everything that fine dining should be. The atmosphere, flavors, service, and experience was one of the best I’ve experienced. Amalia pays attention to all the little details which put them well above the surrounding restaurants in the Miami Beach area. Each dish was light, refreshing, flavorful, and elegant. This was some of the best food I’ve had in years. I will definitely returning when I am in Miami next.

Breakfast was just beyond average. The avocado toast was more a salad with bread than an avocado toast. The continental breakfast was not worth the price, just a yoghurt bowl and some toasts. Coffee is also not good at all, the cappucino had chocolate fudge and nobody asked us if we wanted some … there are better places to have breakfast around.
Service was very good and friendly though ..

Enjoyed a late breakfast on our last day in Miami. I love the pink, gold, and floral feminine decor. It’s got a very nice ambiance that is very soothing. I love the open kitchen concept and the outdoor seating area. Service was excellent. Thank you, Alex.

I’ve eaten here at least 6 times now between the restaurant and the pool while staying at the hotel and it’s truly amazing – every time the food is off the charts good. Get the truffle fries!
