The smoked tuna sandwich is hands down BANANA’S good!!! He threw in a small side of potato salad and coleslaw both delicious. Everything was scratch made. Absolutely a must try if your down at the port of alsea! Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!!! We came right at opening and the only thing he was out of was crab but he was expecting it in FRESH CAUGHT any minute, he definitely cares about quality.

We had the crab cakes and rice. It was the best crab cakes we have had in a long time. The price was great. If you put that meal on a plate you could serve it in a restaurant for well over $20. It was very busy when we were there and probably thanks to prior patrons it was a bit messy. Not the owners fault, but don’t want to mislead anyone. However, if you want a spotless place to eat you could take it home.

Loved it! Skip the crowded tourist traps on the highway and get your fresh and smoked seafood here. No indoor seating. Pick a nice day and walk across the street to eat your crab rolls and smoked tuna salad sandwiches at picnic tables in front of the bay. Great meal worth twice the price. Near magical experience.

Great little food cart/crab shack. Super nice owner/cook. 1 guy running the whole show. After having a hard time getting served at the salty dawn next door, and turned away from the restaurant at our hotel due to staffing shortages/reservations, we were more than pleased with this place. Crab cakes and crab melt were amazing!

If you are visiting & you want excellent food this is a must taste. We found this place on a whim visiting from Minnesota. This is a fabulous place to eat!!! Troy the owner is the nicest guy, very funny & so generous!!! We ordered four Dungeness crab to go & since we were in a RV he offered to cook them for us & he gave us the most delicious brown butter starter to go with it. Talk about a very tasty meal! We went back today & bought the potato salad which is out of this world! If you like horseradish this is a must try. Yum! We also bought tuna salad which is super tasty & Mac & cheese which was 5 cheese, with bacon & ham. Talk about melt in your mouth excellent food!!! What I love the most about it is it’s all made to order so it’s all fresh. The flavors are out of this world! I can’t rave more about this place! Give it a try, you won’t be sorry. -Angie
