This is a great old school dinner that has great, quick service, and decent food. It’s nothing fancy and isn’t trying to be. I always stop at Al’s when visiting Chicopee, especially now that Bernies is closed. If you want a quick, VERY affordable breakfast, I recommend checking it out.

A local gem. The pancakes are fantastic. I believe the owner does all the cooking and has for years. Consistency because 1 chef. It’s a popular spot and sometimes you’ll have to wait to get a seat but the food is worth it. So much better than ihop. I’ve tried a lot of local breakfast places between chicopee, noho, amherst and all the way out to ware. honestly al’s diner has the best consistency, best pancakes great eggs and breakfast potatoes. They cut the ham straight off a massive hunk of pork too. Nice and fresh!! Good prices and it honestly can’t be beat.

An old favorite, I went every week before I moved away, I was in the area and decided to stop by, and let me tell you that I’m so glad I did. I had one of the best burgers I’ve eaten in a long time, with some of the best onion rings in all of Massachusetts. They’re only open to 1pm now, but take the trip and you won’t be disapointed.

This place needs an URGENT cleaning. You can’t tell what real color are the floor or the walls. Jukebox doesn’t work. All signs look like they’ve been there for years. Food presentation looked good but was very greasy and tasteless. I had been planning to visit for a while; well, this was my first and last visit. I gave it two stars because the waitress was friendly and the two little kids helping were cute. Hope they have in their plans a renovation.

A time period diner excellent breakfast I had a omelet with spicy sausage and veggies. The medium pancakes were the size of a dinner plate.

This is a proper diner. Appropriately sized meals with appropriate cost as well. We have been back about 4 times and haven’t had a bad meal yet. Don’t forget to bring cash, they do have an ATM, but my bank charges $3 a pop for out of network…

Honestly this is the best breakfast in Chicopee and it’s not even close. Pancakes are massive, eggs are delicious and the breakfast sandwiches are what I use to judge all others by. Gus is an added bonus. Always friendly. Don’t forget it’s cash only
