Simple diner, simple menu with good quality and fair pricing. Server was friendly food came out within a normal ticket time. We’d go back here it is a greesy spoon with comfort food!

Definitely the best atmosphere ancient diner with original dust on everything. The built-in music boxes at the table don’t work which is too bad so I guess they’re just to look at. Don’t forget cash only but they do have an ATM machine rigged up to a old fashioned telephone somehow that you could dial the planet Mars and get $100 at the counter. That might be the best experience within the place. Nothing wrong with the food basic diner food they’re slicing up ham as they go which is kind of cool. The coffee is definitely the most watery coffee I’ve ever had.

I can’t tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed Al’s Diner! Cute little diner in Chicopee MA. Our server MaryAnn was a delight and made our visit even more enjoyable. Feels like home when your there even with a cuss word or two! The food came out fast, good-tasting and filling. If nostalgia is what your looking for, this is the place! One more thing; the bathrooms are clean and are a little small. Think airplane or bus size;)

This place needs an URGENT cleaning. You can’t tell what real color are the floor or the walls. Jukebox doesn’t work. All signs look like they’ve been there for years. Food presentation looked good but was very greasy and tasteless. I had been planning to visit for a while; well, this was my first and last visit. I gave it two stars because the waitress was friendly and the two little kids helping were cute. Hope they have in their plans a renovation.

Costas “Gus” Mathews is the owner and cook of this amazing diner. He started working here back in 1974. You can feel his pride in ownership and the history of the diner in his attitude and cooking. I’ve never seen him write a order down and he always gets the orders right even when the diner is packed and busy. The food here is very comforting and they have a great menu. Thanks for everything Gus.

Still one of my favorite diners. Wonderful breakfast as always. I had the western omelette, bacon, breakfast potatoes, rye toast and hot coffee today. The food was hot, yummy and healthy sized portions. The service is always friendly and fast.
The atmosphere is 100% authentic American diner.
