Great food, great service, cozy atmosphere. The staff are well knowledgeable of the menu and will accommodate allergens for you if possible. They were out of a tonic so they gave us a similar drink, free of charge which was unexpected and sweet.

Alpino was a very delightful experience. It’s a smaller more intimate place, and can be a casual date night or a let’s dress up kind of place. The cocktails we had were so tastefully crafted. The food was all so delicious as well. The Spatzle is a very must have with the morel remoulade sauce! The service was great and what I really liked is we were not rushed to order and eat. We ordered appetizers first and after eating that we then ordered our entrees. It was a very nicely paced meal. Our server was great too! We will definitely be back.

First time dining in here last night and I can’t say enough good things! Interior was cool, drink list was extensive and we didn’t have a bad dish of food! Our waiter was also apologetic about the wait for a few courses coming out, but in reality it didn’t feel like all that long, so that was a real nice gesture of him. Looking forward to going back soon and trying more dishes/checking out their patio.

Was eagerly awaiting the opening of this restaurant and am so glad to say it lived up to my expectations! From the restaurant atmosphere and interior design, to the food, everything was excellent. It’s nice to find a restaurant focusing on the Alpine region and I feel it is a truly unique gem to add to Detroit’s dining scene.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Alpino, a new Alpine-inspired restaurant in Detroit. With its charming decor and location in the lively neighborhood of Corktown, I had high hopes for a delightful meal. The restaurant even has its own parking lot, making it convenient for customers. Stepping inside, the Alpine-themed ambiance felt just right, and the service was attentive. I couldn’t resist trying their well-balanced drinks, and I highly recommend the Dolomites. Alpino stands out from other local eateries with its unique value proposition of their niche cuisine. As someone already familiar with this type of cuisine, I was eager to explore what Alpino had to offer.

One of the best dining experience I’ve had in this town. I might be biased with German parents, but this weinerschnitzel was as good as Oma’s. Service was impeccable, I can’t wait to come back.

Finally, an Italian restaurant centered around Northern cuisine. This place is fantastic. Alpino perfectly achieves what so many restaurants nowadays cannot pull off – a mix of fine dining and comfort food with the ideal atmosphere. It’s classy, but welcoming and down-to-earth; a concept where other high-end places like Mad Nice seem to have undervalued or simply disregarded entirely. That’s hard to find nowadays. Alpino perfectly nailed the Northern Italian charm, and both the food and the vibe more than outweigh the bill. It’s exactly what Detroit needed.

After living in Europe for few years this restaurant brought all the memories back ! Very Norwegian / German European atmosphere. Food was a 10/10 for me. We had the veal cutlet and the waygu flank. The cucumber salad was everything ! And that mushroom sauce perfection!!! The staff and service was also 10/10. Will defs return!

I was lucky enough to score an early, soft open reservation at Alpino Detroit this past weekend. The owner’s vision of a relaxed, Alpine setting absolutely delivers. You’ll explore a menu of several small plates that pack flavor, artistry and absolute dedication to a theme the owner holds dear. I understand he spent a great deal of time in the Apline region for inspiration, and it absolutely shines through.
