We spent a few days in Clinton, OK and after spending one day at the Water Zoo we decided on this restaurant for dinner. The decor is so fun. It is decorated like a little log cabin and is adorable. The music wasn’t too loud and the restaurant was clean. They seemed to be a little short staffed so the wait for 2 was 20 minutes but we are glad we waited. The tea was refreshing, the food portions were huge and definitely worth the wait and price. We had the Pasta and Nachos for dinner and they were very tasty. The desserts were the showstoppers. The cheesecake topped with strawberries was so good. The mudslide cake sundae was out of this world. We can’t wait to go back this summer!

Ordered mushroom swiss bacon burger with french fries! Food was hot and delicious; i really appreciate the thick cut red onion and tomatoes to accompany the steak sauce. Fries were crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.
Also ordered a half-carbonated water with half sprite, and it was easily accommodated. Nice mountain-like environment and outdoor seating area.

Came in from out of town and thought this place looked nice. Waited 40 minutes for our food, only 4 other tables in the restaurant and plenty of staff. Finally got our food and both of our steaks were ice cold, the mac and cheese was leftover from yesterday and my shrimp were old and bad. The manager was really sweet and only charged us for our drinks, but I wouldn’t recommend. Here’s a pic of our food.

The people here is friendly and kind. This is a good grill restaurant. They have a very good menu with a lot of choices. Weekend days Fridays and Saturdays more people come here. The price is good for the quality.

Environment was great, not busy, seating is nice.. Ordered the cheese burger, it was good. Waitress was nice (smiled and nice attitude) but she did not check on table at all, hard to enjoy a dine in place when you want/need stuff. Literally sat for 15-20(ish) minutes waiting for ticket after we was finished eating, had to hunt down someone else to let them know we were ready to leave. $6+ for Cheese sticks appetizer. Totally NOT worth the money!! Minus the 2 stars for the service and not-worth-it appetizer. I’m being ‘nice’ about it, my grandma said she would give No stars. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the portions were quite large for the cost. We had sirloin tips on rice and sirloin steak. I was critical because of the bad reviews. I do not agree with them. The interior was clean and neat. The atmosphere is rustic and the decor fits that. New seat coverings for the booths might be nice. Too bad there weren’t more people there early evening on a Saturday night because it really is a good place! We both enjoyed our steaks. They might went to choose a different fragrance in the bathroom cleaner. I especially noticed that there were no cobwebs or dust bunnies on the hanging decor, which I have seen at other restaurant chains. I hope people will try Montana Mike’s Steakhouse in Clinton Oklahoma

My family and I were visiting Clinton OK for the first time this past weekend. We had decided to go eat at Montana Mike’s Steakhouse and we were looking at the reviews. We almost talked ourselves out of trying it due to all the negative reviews that we read. However I would like to say that we had a wonderful experience!!! The staff was so friendly and nice!! We ordered sweet tea to drink and ordered the cheese fries as an appetizer. Both were amazing and our waitress never let us run out of something to drink. My husband and I both ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection!!! We had absolutely no complaints and I am so glad we did not let the negative reviews stop us from giving it a try!!! We talked to the manager and he explained that they are trying everyday to address the complaints and improve in any way that they can. We will most definitely be going back!!!
