The Mexican restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience, featuring fresh ingredients and generous portions. The cheese appears to be freshly shredded, and the lettuce is notably crisp. The “number 3 plate” is particularly noteworthy, abundant with toppings and a distinctive guacamole-like sauce that enhances the overall flavor profile. The chunky salsa is a standout, offering a rich and flavorful experience. The portion sizes are ideal for those who appreciate a substantial meal. Among the offerings, the chicken taco is a personal favorite. The establishment also boasts a spacious outdoor seating area, adorned with festive holiday decorations. I highly recommend visiting this establishment when you are in the charming town of Alpine.

I don’t know why I just love their rolled tacos here! I mean I love everything I eat here I always have. But the rolled tacos are very good here. On this trip home I got rolled tacos, a breakfast burrito, and a carne asada burrito.
DONT JUDGE ME! I was there for a week okay these were all different days! And no, I don’t get tired of Mexican food ♀️ This is my favorite Mexican food in Alpine. So if you’re in the area, I definitely recommend them!

YUM!!! Wife & I ate today, food was very good. Wife got roll tacos plate, she thought very favorable. Myself got shrimp taco plate & 1 carne street taco. Very good, tacos were packed and very favorable. LARGE menu to choose from. Look forward to going back in our travels between Imperial Valley & San Diego area. Little pricey but worth it.

The outside garden area is beautiful but the inside of the shop is a little outdated. The food was great, we tried their signature burrito, california fries, tacos and an orchata drink. Everything was really tasty, and made to order. The orchata was in a mixer machine and tasted home made.

I have been eating at Alpine Taco Shop for 20 years and obviously then love it. Their rice and shredded beef and their potato tacos are some of my favorites, and they have good salsas and hot carrots with peppers and onions. This is what a great family-run So Cal taco shop should be.

Sad gone way down hill. No salsa bar, (I feel like they very stingy with hot sauce) The hot carrots are a rip off. Rolled tacos have very little guacamole and barely any lettuce or tomato. No prices on menu I was charged $29.00 for 2 orders of rolled tacos and one chile relleno al carte.

I love the food, I especially like that they have 2 types of guacamole so my kids can have no tomatoes and I can have the good stuff.
