I only gave them a four stars because I don’t really care for the corn too much. It’s too soft for me and get stuck in my teeth more than firm corn. But this place is always crowded They always have decent customer service tons of items to choose from and it is pretty good. Not my favorite but it is a local favorite.!

Went for the first time 8/31/25 and the menu is so big. They have alot a different options. I got the butter pecan milkshake, get the elite with flaming hot cheetos, pistachio ice cream and snicker ice cream. So good. Definitely going back.

The tamales here are usually extremely good, and quite large for their prices. They’re also pre-prepared and wrapped in tinfoil: you should get your order very quickly (a few minutes), and take out should stay hot for some time.

I’d especially recommend:
* “red sauce w/ chicken tamale wrapped in corn leaves”; and
* “green sauce w/ pork tamale wrapped in banana leaves.”

There are lots of cold treats here, like ice cream, smoothies, shakes, and Mexican-style frozen fruit desserts; such things are not really to my tastes, and appear more expensive than I’d prefer.

Service is fine, but English may be a second language.

A #37 bus stop headed SE is right next by; and a #37 stop, headed NW, is across the street.

It’s all sooo good! They are typically out of esquimales /corn tamales 🙁 but that doesn’t take away from how delicious everything else is. Gloria de Fresa and the red sauce tamales are favorites of mine.

Honestly very aesthetic and busy ice cream store, but after several trial of their menu, I didn’t think they were as good as other Mexican ice cream place I have been to. But they have a great range of things on their menu and I think they might be an expert in many other things beside the one I have tried with them.

What a wonderful place to get yourself a nice cold treat or something to drink. They make slushies and floats and so many other drinks that I can’t pronounce yet! We will definitely be going back soon! Very reasonable prices and helpful staff are very patient.

I have such an unhealthy obsession with this place lol, the elote and the tamales are soooooo good! I try different frozen treats every time I come and I’ve never been disappointed. All the different flavors and colors really appeal to my inner child. The prices for the quality of the products here are unbelievable. I never spend more than $15 and always leave super satisfied!
