The food is good here. The service was great. However, don’t get a drink to go they’ll charge you 50¢ for the cup. A stupid rule especially since you already paid for your meal and drink. Management needs to rethink that one.

I went to George’s Cafe, the Lakeview location for an early dinner with my parents. My mother wanted to go because this was Liver & Onions special day…. My mother and I each got the Liver and onion special with my step dad getting a pancake sandwich. We had a very good server, his name was Trenton, he took our order and brought food and drinks to us and was polite and got our order correct.

George ‘s Lakeview Café reminds me of every Sunday after church everyone would gather at my grandma house having a potluck dinner. George’s has a family like atmosphere and each time I went there the food was amazing. Always positive vibes. Staff always polite, cheerful and service with a smile.

I wish I knew that the main menu was available instead of just the breakfast special list. I ordered the eggs benedict. The Hollandaise sauce was from scratch and had dill in it which was a surprise. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly! When it came to the “Canadian bacon” or “ham” I was disappointed when I finally figured out that it was actually processed meat. The flavor was fine, but rather an off-putting texture. Service was fine, the regulars sure seemed to be greatly appreciated. I will probably go again someday, but will not go out of my way to go there.

Food isn’t bad and the prices are reasonable. The service was very good and everyone is very friendly. The restaurant is very clean, cute, and cozy. I’d go again if I were in the area.
