I actually ordered the Hawaiian bbq beef mix, and ended up getting the bbq beef by mistake. Not tripping because it was really good. Customer service was good as well. When I called about it, they were really pleasant. Shrimp was good too. I’ll definitely be back.

My Husband and I came in for our work lunch on a Saturday, the atmosphere is really cute and cozy. The customer service was superb, the cashier was very informative and kind. I got the chicken katsu and my husband got the barbecue mix with two appetizers; spam misubi and chicken katsu misubi. Everything was very delicious. The chicken katsu wasnt insanely hard like every other Hawaiian restaurant that serves this dish. It was so much easier to eat for me. The rice was a good addition because it was like sticky rice. I dont typically like the mac salads but this recipe here is really good. 5 stars deserving

This review may come off a little over the top but trust me when I say, Hands down some of the best food I have ever had and we are big food critics when it comes to trying new places and we try many different restaurants all over the city weekly so that should tell you something. We decided to try Aloha today and the only regret that I have is not buying more. From the customer service to the food this place absolutely is a top 5 for us maybe even number 1. Everything was very tasteful and so much more flavorful than any other Hawaiian restaurants that we have eaten at before in the past, from the meats to the Mac salad everything was absolutely delicious!!

honestly, it was just kinda gross. chicken was SOOOO fatty and lacked flavor. had to drown it in teriyaki to eat it.
gallon jugs of hand sanitizer on the tables was just very off-putting.

This place really hit the spot. I was looking for some authentic Hawaiian bbq since I haven’t had it since Maui. Chicagoland area doesn’t really produce any good ones. It’s located in a strip mall with ample parking. When you walk in, you order from the counter, then you sit down, and they bring it out for you. We got the family meal that feeds 4-6. It comes with white rice, macaroni salad, crab rangoon, and you select 3 kinds of meat. We chose bbq chicken, kalua pork, and kalbi short ribs. We also got spam musubi.
Service was excellent. The staff was really nice and attentive. Bbq chicken was flavorful and tender. Very little chew. Kalua pork was moist and bursting with flavor after that first bite. Highly recommend. Kalbi short ribs was perfectly cooked and juicy. Spam musubi you have to eat it together because spam itself is salty. The rice and seaweed evens out the saltiness. Prices were fair for the amount of food.

This is the 1st time I have been to this restaurant since the name changed. I must say that all the food is still good! I was happy to see they still had a Tuesday special for $7. The Katsu was fresh and still hot. The short ribs were a little bland . I will definitely be back often.

Clean tables and friendly staff. My husband and I ordered the short ribs. It had a good flavor and so did their sauce, but the short ribs were so chewy. It was hard to cut with the utensils given and hard to just bite if you tried. Being from an island and having short ribs my whole life, the texture of that was unappetizing.
