Best food and friendly people too! We ate there 4 times during our vacation! I miss their Hurricane and Volcano chicken, but everything our family of 8 ordered was delicious and well priced. Good amount of food at a good price. Yummy and I would fly back, if I could, just to eat here!

Aloha Braised absolutely crushed it for our wedding catering. Everyone could not stop talking about how fantastic the food was. One of our friends, who is a self-proclaimed mochiko chicken hater, couldn’t believe how much he loved Jaymar’s version. It completely changed his mind.
Every single dish was amazing. The poke and cheese selections during cocktail hour were a huge hit, and both the vegetarians and pescatarians raved about their meals. People were going back for seconds and thirds, and by the end of the night, everyone was so full from grabbing plate after plate of food.
I kept stressing to my wedding planner that I was trying to be as frugal as possible. While Aloha Braised was a little over our original budget, they were still so much more affordable than a plated dinner or most of the catering companies on Maui. We decided to go full send with Aloha Braised, and I am so exceptionally glad that we did. I truly believe they made our wedding so much better.
I’m a total mac salad snob, and I was absolutely pounding full plates of their mac salad to the point where my dress was getting tight. It was that good. One of the best touches was that at the end of the night, the Aloha Braised team handed out to-go boxes to our guests, which came in very handy on the drunk shuttle ride home and at the afterparty.
Even three weeks later, as I was sitting down after my honeymoon to write this review, I got an unprompted text from a friend saying, “I still think about the mochiko chicken.” Jaymar and his team were professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Aloha Braised made our wedding unforgettable, and I cannot recommend them enough.

If you want to try delicious authentic Hawaiian food this is the place! I recommend the Teriyaki chicken with a side of fried rice or the hurricane chicken plate!

Food truck located at the side of a grocery store. There are some picnic tables outside with umbrellas outside. Food is pretty good (tried the hurricane chicken), but I would add a sticky soy sauce instead of gallon of aioli. Pretty great Hawaiin bbq regardless.

Service was excellent at this food truck. Guys were friendly and helpful. They recommended and explained it all. Location is convenient even if not on the main highway. It’s right in front of the grocery store (also recommended). Food is great and a good deal.

Located in a truck next to Island grocery depot, Aloha Braised has some of, if not the best local food on the island. They have a rotating menu with a variety of local favorites from loco moco to ahi plates and much more. First day I tried the NY steak plate and chow fun, loved it so much I had to come back and try poke steak. All were absolutely delicious. Next time I’m back on the island I’ll most definitely be back.

We ordered the Volcano Chicken and Loco Moco. Both were fantastic but the chicken was absolutely delicious! Best Mac Salad we’ve had in Maui so far.
Even better than the food was the exceptional service. We had come down from hiking all day at Haleakala and had been looking forward to stopping here for a late lunch when we realized we were barely going to make it before closing. I called in and explained our situation and the lady was so friendly and understanding! We arrived right at closing and she had our food waiting and was nothing but smiles. Definitely recommend!

Best meal you’ll have on vacation. Not only is the food extremely tasty, the guys at the truck are so friendly! I think it’s the best friend rice I’ve ever had. It’s safe to say it lives up to the hype. I hope the next time I’m here they have a restaurant or more places to sit because they absolutely deserve it!
