My two children and I were passing through from Des Moines on our way to Swan Lake, and decided to check this place out for a quick bite. Service was great. Super friendly! My kids enjoyed a game of pool, Pac-Man, and darts while we waited for our order. I’m always hesitant ordering steak because of course my steaks are mwwuaahh chefs kiss, but decided to give it a go anyways. So glad I did! 15 bucks for a grilled sirloin cooked to perfection, a baked potato, garlic bread, and a salad. Everything was really damn good and that was the best steak I’ve ever ordered out. My kids both ordered burgers and fries and both cleared their plates! This place is definitely a gem and worth the stop!

Great pizza, pepperoni rolls and chicken strips. Many great items to choose from. Cash only. Fast service and reasonable prices. Good place to stop if your looking for a place to eat in Viborg. Lots of choices on the menu. Lunch and dinner. They also serve beer and other alcohol. There is a bar attached in the back but it is separated from the restuarant. Restuarant is a good place for families. Plenty of space and tables to choose from

I definitely love their pizza. It’s got kind of a new York style thin big slice approach. I keep meaning to eat there and try some other foods just haven’t gotten around to it. Best pizza place in 30 miles of Hurley easily.

Love love love the pizza here in Viborg. If you love pizza you will love the fire roasted pizza here at this hidden gem!! It’s great when you order ahead and they have it ready for your trip, if you head through Viborg. Great service and even better pizza!! We will be back and recommend!!

If you have a chance to detour off 90 to the small town of Viborg it’s worth it! We were traveling through South Dakota on our way home to NYC. We stayed locally for the night and walked to Main Street to the only restaurant in town. The pizza is so good! That is coming from someone from NYC. We also had the burger and fries which is really good as well! The owners were amazing and warm and we chatted with them until 12am on the restaurants back patio. Hoping we have an opportunity to come back through Viborg as this was one of our highlights from our road trip!

The guy who said it was never open must have been standing in front of the wrong Viborg cafe. Daneville Inn’s hours are clearly stated online and on their door. They open at 11:30 AM every day. The decor is dated and, frankly, ugly but the food is great. They serve pizzas, burgers, open faced sandwiches, pasta and steaks. The service is friendly, as you would expect in a small town. Having driven through Viborg numerous times on the way to Yankton I’m sorry I didn’t stop here before. They do not accept credit cards. Cash or check only and there is an ATM on the premises.

Went here with my boyfriend last night. We go out often and have heard so many good things about daneville in so we had to try it. We live in Irene and love that it’s super close, the food was OUTSTANDING . Got the steak tip sandwich and loaded nachos I cleaned everything up on the plates. Totally recommend will be stopping in again SOON.
