Hidden gem of the valley! Great food, great service. Empanadas, pasteles y platanos were top notch. Seasoning and cooking is homestyle. Drove by and saw the flag. Next time I’m back. Will be stopping by Familia again!

I first tried the owners Spanish food in Bridgeport “La Morla”. It was my go to for my Spanish food in Bridgeport. Now being a Seymour resident for the past 2 years.. I later learned that “La Familia”was the same owner in Ansonia, next town over. My heart and belly are full!!! The food is always delicious, never disappointed and FRESH!!! I’ve done catering, my guest loved everything.

I’m not sure who owns this restaurant but I’m sure it’s a Latino restaurant. This place is like the comfort of your home. The moment I stepped in the place the food looked welcoming and the hosts had a steady smile on their faces. Which had you feeling welcomed. As good as the food looked it tasted even better. I truly enjoyed eating there. I saw children having that same feeling I had and glad to be there. Check this Latino restaurant out. You’ll be glad you visit.

I got the roasted pork with rice and beans, and two empanadas for my fiancé for lunch. Big portions, delicious, and less than we would have spent at McDonald’s. A lot better too!

The cleanliness of the place is very welcoming the quality of the food they serve is fresh and well done meats are very tender and they have a great flavor . The staff is very friendly and professional they take their time to get your orders in a timely manner. It’s a family place where you can bring your family and enjoy a great authentic Puerto Rican classic cuisine away from the kitchen of your home. If you know about the PUERTORICANS you know they’re food is . I strongly recommend this place. I give them a 5 star well deserve.
