My new favorite restaurant! Good food, good service, good prices. Best chicken fried steak I have had in 20 years. Steak, 3 sides, and a large dinner roll for $8.95. Friendly employees.

So good. Came out to Okemah for an appointment. Took my family out after and had a heavenly meal. I got the Indian Taco. Bread was thick and fluffy, beans were fresh and meat was grilled. I had it just the way they served it. Almost as good as my own Momma’s recipe! We got desserts to go because we were full. Fried pies!!! I got the strawberry cream and it was good cold. My sis got a cherry cheese cake home made. It had pockets of real cream cheese which was delightful.

Walked in and was greeted three times before I got to the counter. Really sweet folks working there. I got the veggie plate with the dinner roll and it was excellent! Even the pickled beets. Lol. Do recommend. Decent choices for vegans and vegetarians also.

It was on a Friday evening and the special was all you can eat catfish dinner. The dinner included two sides, dinner salad and a roll. It was a very busy evening for the place. We had waited an hour for our food. People that came in after us were getting served before us. Finally, my husband asked one of the personnel about what was happening with our meal. She checked and shortly after, she brought out our meals. I had ordered catfish and as I took a bite of the catfish it was cold. The server came back a few moments later and ask how everything was. I told her the catfish was cold and to take my meal back and take it off of our ticket and I would share my husband’s meal with him. He had fried chicken and he’s meal was hot. Only one thing though, he had ordered the dinner salad and it came without any dressing on it. No salad dressing was offered when we ordered and none offered when we were served.

stopped in here for breakfast while on our way to Colorado and was pleasantly surprised. I don’t want to say this looked like the bad part of town but it definitely looked like the part of town where people pay attention to what they are saying because around here you might get punched in the mouth if you say something out of line but the place was clean, the people were polite, friendly, working class people, the staff was helpful and polite, and the food was good. traditional, continental breakfast food, given in big portions, at a price I couldn’t believe! they must not have raised menu prices since the 90’s! it was that cheap. doubt I’m ever in this area again but if I am I know where I’m having breakfast.

This is a great small diner, with a good selection of homestyle food. The owner is usually there and he is usually ready for some chit chat. I’ve eaten here four times now while out of town for business, and when I’m back in the area I’m sure I will dine here again.

Definitely gonna be where we stop to eat any time we’re in this area. Bacon burger was good, chicken fried chicken was better than most, but the highlight was the burrito plate. We were late for the lunch hour, so we missed the pies, but the cheesecakes were definitely a must.
