So, I don’t want to sound like a snob, but Alice’s needs a renovation. It’s dim, drab and not comfortable. The ribs were really good, the other meals okay, but we wouldn’t rush to return. Our waitress was very attentive. The receptionist was… unhappy.

We had a great time on Fried Chicken night. Onion rings were crispy, you can see the pull on the cheese sticks, fried shrimp were plump and tasty, the Country Fried Chicken was delicious. We will be back.

This is a nice family restaurant, very diner like.
This time I started out with a delightful bowl of Cream of Crab soup. It’s always done with a thick rue which I love. It has some seasoning added, but not to much. Most review their cream of crab as excellent.
Then on to the main meal, which was Calves liver and onions. For sides I had a baked potato, and baked beans. The liver was delicious, the baked beans was fairly generic but good. The baked potato was cooked well, but I think for butter they use some type of margarine instead of butter, as it wasn’t as delicious as I would have expected the potato to be. Providing real salted butter to put on it would make the potato an A.
The waitress was fantastic, I have zero complaints on her service.
Overall a wonderful restaurant that I will visit again..

I think I’ve eaten there At least four times. Try different things to eat every time. My favorite Was their breaded chicken. I went on Monday. It was the special. I actually think it’s the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. It really tasted like my grandma‘s!

First time eating here. The staff is friendly, but maybe just a bit unorganized when it gets busy. We were able to get our order in, but had to wait a while for our burgers. The burgers were delicious so I’m not really complaining, because I prefer quality over all.
The burgers were 1/2 lb patties and the rolls were perfect with the exact amount of barbeque so that the burger didn’t get soggy. Honestly one of the better burgers I’ve had lately.
I was disappointed no one ever came back to check if we would like a refill once we did finally get our burgers since we had less than half our cups left lol. For our first time here though it was a pretty solid experience.

The fried chicken was very good, it had a touch of crab seasoning and celery seed that wasn’t overpowering, but just enough for you to notice. It’s not sitting in the back waiting to be served, because you might want to wait just a few minutes before buying into it…. it’s right out of the fryer. I will go back to try the cheeseburger… it looked amazing.

The portions are HUGE. this nice restaurant has amazing food. Today wifey n I visited – had a “dirty Southern” which was a bowl piled high with fresh baked biscuits, and layered with country fried chicken, sausage gravy, cheese, and topped with eggs over medium. Woah! Wifey’s chicken quesadilla was pretty top notch. Recommend this place for the fast service, great tasting food, and ample parking.

While taking into accountability that it absolutely was Thanksgiving, I called ahead just for simple carry out, I asked for carryout should be ready by 2:00 p.m. and they said 2:00 p.m. would be very busy so they called me back and said can I please come at 1:45 p.m. I should sure no problem. Is currently 2:15 and I am still waiting for carry out. Again I’m taking into consideration that it is Thanksgiving but I do think there should be a little bit more organization as I think they are completely overwhelmed at this point.
My food rating is on the food that I’ve got in the past I have yet to receive my carry out online so to be determined.

We have come here several times and have been very happy with our visit. Today we came for lunch. Our waitress was Lisa. She was awesome. We had cheeseburger quesadillas, Chesapeake burger. Golden chicken crab dip and pretzel bites and chicken tenders. All of it was great! It was great portions, tasty and filling. My mom said her burger was the best she ever had! The only thing we did not like were the green beand, just a little too salty. That could just be our taste.
