Forget beer. This Sacramento restaurant is known for its soup flights
Reviews
The quesotaco and AB shrimp taco were both very good, lots of flavor. The crispy taco wasn’t very crispy and fell flat. The carne asada mulita was another standout, loved the crispy cheese crust.
Drinks were on point. The aguas frescas were refreshing, and the horchata was excellent with strong cinnamon flavor, almost like a dessert. Instead of chips, they serve duritos, which is a cool touch and something different. They are light puffy deep fried wheat snacks shaped into pinwheels served with chile and lime.
Overall, worth the stop, especially for the soups and specialty tacos. Would definitely come back and try more.
The soup flights were incredible — perfect when you want a little bit of everything. Every dish was delicious, and the blended watermelon margaritas truly topped it all — refreshing and dangerously good
Warm, welcoming staff, great ambiance, and outstanding flavors. Highly recommend!
Algo Bueno!
Food was not all that.
I ordered chilaquiles which was $16.50 of just chips with salsa and light cheese, light sour cream, 3 strands of purple onion. 2 eggs I ordered sunny side up but got over medium. (No side of rice and beans)
*La favorita and Tapatía la perla chilaquiles plates come with a side of rice and beans.
Fries have a taste of old oil.
Charged $6 for horchata that has zero taste of being organic.
I think this place is over hype for its aesthetic.
Would honestly not recommended this place. I went in with high hopes and was let down. It’s giving more of skimping to make ends meet.
It a clean and warming atmosphere. With fresh ingredients and very unique, one of a kind flavors. Every dish is a must try, they all have their own signature taste.
Portions are very generous, you get what you pay for.
The service is attentive and they all give a polite service.
The full bar service is very nice and appealing.
My best drink there is the Paloma and the henney-chata soooo good!
I appreciate the balance the restaurant has a fun ambiance, but also very family friendly.
4 stars for atmosphere due to a bothersome fly that came through the doors.
