Alfonso’s is a little spot in a gas station. The food was decent. We ordered a #1 plate, and a #9. We also tried to get the vegetarian 5 rolled tacos. When we got our food, the rolled tacos were covered in meat. We asked them if we could get them with just cheese and avocado like it says on the menu. When we got the second round, they were filled with meat and sloppily thrown together with just cheese and avocado on top. Not happy with that part of our experience but the other food was okay.

Food is delicious. The service is fast and food is hot. The tortillas are yummy and taste homemade. The green mild salsa is tasty. We had the Carne Asada plate and the Enchilada plate. Both meals came with rice and beans. Food tasted authentic and fresh. The location is inside of a gas station so parking is available. There are a few tables inside to sit and eat at. There was a breakfast , lunch and dinner menu. Service was helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a stop if your craving Mexican food.

We were very happy with our meal at Alfonso’s Mexican Restaurant. The Chili Relleno and the cheese enchiladas were wonderful. The rice was the best we have ever had. All was fresh and hot. This food is the real deal, prepared by local cooks. You won’t be disappointed!

The guacamole is blended with water. We ordered chips and guacamole. The chips were amazing, they were homemade. The guacamole didn’t even taste like avocado. It had the consistency of a shake and I could only taste water. So we tried to ask the guy to do something and he just fed us some excuse that a new guy made it. He didn’t offer a refund or anything and I guess we just got stuck with your water shake? We asked him if hed tasted it today and he didnt acknowledge what we said and avoided the question. He told us we just needed to add salt. Like wait, salt is going to remove the water and add avocado even enough to flavor it?! Like salt, is going to add the missing ingredients like tomatoes, onions, basically everything your puree was missing, is inside of salt alone? Wow, I’m completely amazed, I had no idea that was all inside of salt! What amazing customer service, just tell me I’m stupid and dont know! I had no idea adding salt would transform this from mostly water flavorless puree, to actually mashing avacado with a fork and chopped ingredients. Does gordon Ramsay know this wonderful trick? If you’re getting complaints and he made an earnest mistake, why are you serving a productyou referredto as messed up? So if you drop food on the floor it’s still worth serving? You think your customers want to eat and pay for waste product that you messed up and are telling me shouldve been thrown out and remade because you’re saying you didn’t train your new employees? It seems like in order to be cheap, owners are instructing your employees to dilute the guacamole because its expensive. Idk why a new guy would come up on his own, to blend it with water until its motsly liquid. You expect me to believe he showed up with an immersion blender from his house and just did that? Also while we were there it was very busy and all the tables were dirty, I never saw them clean the tables while we were there and saw customers cycle over. The meals we got were actually very good, but the Chile was not. Well my chicken chimi had a bone in it. The place definitely didn’t seem too clean, I saw at least 10 flies around the gas station restaurant and like I said they did not bother with their dining area. The flies were free to move from the kitchen throughout the building, and i could see a large stack of taco shells out, im sure the flies have been all over them all day. Idk but this place has too many red flags for me to ever go back. Poor customer service, knowingly served “messed up,” waste product, dirty, and absolutely awful green colored water that they call guacamole processed in a blender your cook just brought from home I guess

Pretty good little restaurant, the enchilada and taco were good. I’ve stopped here before and had a good breakfast burrito. I do wish the place was a bit cleaner inside.

Amazing vegan options and yummy food. Everyone who works there is super nice, we had excellent service. Dining area very clean with cute decor. This is located inside of a gas station minimart so maybe not a date night spot but we will be back.

Tried a carnitas torta and ground beef tacos. Nice portions and the ingredients seemed fresh and quality. Their salsas were good as well as the pickled carrots and peppers. Cooked to order, service was fast and the cashier was friendly. Would eat here again.
