Everything about this place is great, the service, the friendliness, the cleanliness, the quantity for the price and the quality. I ordered two fish tacos this most recent visit thinking they would be small but they were so huge I could barely finish one and had to take the other home to have for lunch the next day. Last time I was here I got the three rolled tacos. They were generous with the meat and delicious with tons of guacamole and cheese on top.

This place is lazy I ordered a simple bean and cheese burrito and it was horrible. The cheese was all on one side of the burrito melted block sheer laziness. If you cant make a simple bean and cheese burrito u cant make mexican food. Its a disgrace I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat these clowns nasty food. Dont waiste your money here. This lazy establishment will never see a penny from me I rather drive further.

I love love love Albert’s Fresh Mexican food. Kimmy took my order she is such a sweet heart & gave extraordinary exceptional 5 star service. & Jesus was the chef on duty, my food was hot fresh & delicious. They even give free chips & salsa when dining in. 5 star love it here. Definitely a hidden gem.

There was a parking lot, it is a convenient location surrounded by different restaurant! The inside sitting area is not big but there was outside seating too!
We spent 10-20$ for each person but I won’t recommend this place at all, drive 5 more minutes to the other Albert’s for way better food and service!

The beef tacos and burritos were really good! The burrito was about the size of my arm! That’s all the good things I can say about this place!
The layout of the fountain drinks was very awkward and inconvenient, we ordered 3 big rolled tacos but the staff told us that we could only pick one meat which did not happen in the other Albert’s so I was shocked.
I asked for a chicken soup and the staff said that she will have to ask the kitchen to see if they have any chicken soup left, she came back with a positive answer, so I ordered it. However, when I received my chicken soup, there was only one small piece of chicken in my soup And the carrots were so hard, it tasted like they just throw some carrots right into my bowl.
If you don’t have anything left, just tell me so I can order something else, don’t try to fool your customers and give them the bottom of the bowl.

I ate here the other day and had the ground beef enchiladas, they were outstanding. The portions are incredible and the rice and beans were incredible. Chips and salsa are always incredible. I used to eat there when I was younger

Stopped in for a shrimp ceviche tostada during lunch. Pico was the opposite of fresh. Asked for a side of beans and chips while I waited. 10 minutes later I get a tostada and a side of beans. Not sure what the problem was, I’ve always had great service in Lakeside and El Cajon. I wouldn’t go back to this location.

I still enjoy coming here for a nice plate of food (usually tacos, beans & rice)but I must admit I hate they got rd of the salsa bar since Covid. I am sure it saved them a little money but it bugs me every time I go in. I love chunky red salsa and they have a good one. I recall they had one or two good green ones as well. They have always had the stuff in the squeeze bottles but that was always inferior in comparison to the salsa bar selection.

The is my favorite taco shop. I’ve been going here for years. The staff is always friendly, and the food has never disappointed me. They pay attention to your order, unlike some other local shops which disregard if you ask to leave an ingredient off (in my case, onions). Everything tastes super fresh. I can not recommend them highly enough. My favorite items are the surf and turf California burrito and the big rolled tacos.
