Usually very good! It’s the closest ice cream shop to me that has vegan flavors. There’s usually only 2 options that change and may run out, so I do suggest checking ahead of time. Their fries are great, and I’m usually not a big fry fan. I only wish they’d expand on their vegan items, like making the fry sauces vegan (just use vegan mayo), and offering vegan milkshakes (I mean, they already have vegan milk around to make the ice cream, so why not?) Overall recommend.

Vegan ice cream! They always have at least 2 vegan flavors available—not just sorbet—actual ice cream. It’s available in scoops or in cartons. I only wish that they’d make vegan versions of some of their more exotic flavors. Their French fries are surprisingly good as well, definitely worth a purchase. I only wish they’d make the incredibly simple switch to vegan mayonnaise, so I could’ve tried some of the more interesting sauces for the fries. Definitely check this place out when you’re in town.

Very weird experience. I enter & no one even says hello and the menu is almost displayed on the ceiling, which makes it difficult to look at comfortably. I look around for paper menus and the girl behind the counter disappears for a few minutes (I was the only one in the store). The menu displays $1 for a waffle bowl and I ask to confirm the price with vegan ice cream and am told it’s $2, which shows on the cash register. Then I order and she tells me the price isan extra $6, does not ask me anything nor apologize and continues to make the ice cream even after I say that you just told me it was $2. By this point, I’m looking at the other menu options and decide to get the banana while the original order is still being made. Thankfully her coworker came out and rang it up correctly, which is why I gave an extra star. And because I assume it was a new employee. Overall extremely awkward customer service

This is another amazing place!! One of my favorites. There is no soft serve, only home made/ hand dipped ice cream. They have something called a Flight, which means you can get 4 different types of ice cream at the same time. Since it was my first time, it was wonderful being able to try different flavors. The staff was excellent, and they were so nice. I had someone taking care of me, and she told me her favorite flavor and took the best care of me. Their ice cream was worth every penny and then some. We got Blueberry French Toast Swirl, and it tastes like Sunday Morning Breakfast. Their Snickers, tasted like a snickers candy bar. Their Rootbeer Float tasted like they blended soda and made it creamy. All of their flavor tasted like they blended the name and creamed it. My absolute favorite (That I have tried) was the cake batter. It tasted like you were licking the bowl after making a cake. My family will be going back! I recommend it to everyone!

I will be honest, I am a Dippy’s fan. I tried Alura’s because everyone raves about it. However, I found it a bit pricey $6.50 for a medium. While the flavor was good (mint chocolate) the ice cream (to me) did not have the smooth churned texture. It was good, but it wasn’t the same as my favorite. Just my opinion and preference.

The homemade ice cream is fantastic! I would have given them 5 stars if they had not run out of multiple flavors; Plan for Demand!! Pitman is such a cute Main Street town. This place is worth a side trip.
