Not only was I blown away by the indoor plants growing amazingly in this restaurant, but the food was just as mind blowing! I will absolutely be back here and I’m also more house plant inspired. Also, that chili oil in the little jar, you want to buy that. Amazon. I’ll be carrying it in my purse from now on.

This place is really cute! The food is really good, but I wish they had white meat as an option. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is SUPER friendly!

Don buri (IYKYK) and spicy ramen with extra spicy garlic oil. They know authentic Japanese cuisine here. Even the potato croquettes were awesome. This is the place place so far in New Orleans for ramen. The quality is simply unmatched.

This place is so cute! I love the vibe. I usually get it delivered but I went in for the first time & I’ll definitely be going back. The food is always good & hot, with so much flavor. There’s even an outside eating area which will be fun to enjoy with nice weather.

I was nervous when I paid and tipped upfront, and I was nervous that when asked the employee how many hours the broth was boiled and she said “we make it in 15 minutes.” And then I was also nervous when I was handed a fork upfront. But the tonkatsu ramen was great. The broth was salty, creamy and thick. The noodles were chewy and good. Chasu was average in taste, but a good portion. The same employee was very sweet and let me take Halloween candy from a Halloween prop. It was a pleasant experience overall.

Finally, a good ramen spot in the city. I’ve tried almost all of the ramen spots here and nothing even came close to chain restaurant ramen in Japan. Ajun Cajun is as close as you’re gonna get to a decent bowl of ramen in the city. The price point is also bearable compared to the $18 bowls at other places.

Tried the miso ramen (corn+egg+butter) super flavorful, definitely one of the best ramen in louisiana, having been in japan they really did a great job.

f I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. The ramen I tried was PHENOMENAL! I promise, it’s the best ramen in New Orleans. The tonkotsu ramen here blows other area ramen shops out of the water. As a Japanese girl that appreciates good ramen, Ajun Cajun ramen tastes authentic. This comes with no surprise because this shop is one of the few Japanese restaurants in New Orleans run by actual Japanese owners. It’s a must try spot for anyone who loves ramen!
