Great steak fajitas with fresh shells!! The chips were warm thin and salty with great salsa. Not bad fried ice cream. Wish they still had sopapillas!!

Ajo Al’s is usually amazing. I only rated for this 1 visit and others need to be aware that it was Valentine’s Day and busy.
Luckily, we werent in any big hurry, atmosphere was great, but a new server-asking for bill 2x, refills on soda + barely warm meat on a tostado = not a big deal.
This is one of our favorite restaurants.

Went to the original Ajo ALs last night. Food was good and reasonably priced but what impressed us most was our waitress.
I want to give a shout out to Anna who was enthusiastic and positive and taught me about a menu item I wasn’t aware of ( mini margarita ). Even when a restaurant has good food the experience can be ruined by poor wait staff.

Anna …thanks again for a great experience and your positive attitude!

Tables were never cleaned off around us. We had fajitas as several times for the flower tortillas never got them waitress was slow didn’t seem engaged. All the tables around us are still full of used food and drinks or people left hours ago.

Everyone is so friendly and the service was excellent. The food is fantastic with fresh salsa made daily and whole made tortillas and the queso is the best I ever had! It is my new favorite Mexican restaurant hands down.

Stopped into Ajo Al’s and had an awesome experience. We ordered the carne asada tacos and shrimp tacos, plus a couple of margaritas — everything was fresh, flavorful, and really well done. The staff was super friendly, and the seating was comfortable, which made the whole meal relaxing. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!

I have been going to this location and coming here since I was like 5 years old and it was our favorite Mexican restaurant in town with generous portions. I have been getting the pollo con queso for over 20 years and it used to be massive, but every time I get it now it is smaller and smaller. Literally every single time it is smaller. The pollo con queso is literally half the size it was 10 years ago. That is outrageous. So the price goes up, but the size goes down? How is that fair? I understand raising the prices on the menu because the cost of supplies and produce are more expensive for you to run a restaurant, but making a product half the size it was before is unacceptable! And so many reviews on here are saying the same thing, then you go on and say that you didn’t reduce the size. Please don’t lie to your loyal customers that have been going to your place for over 20+ years. Very shady practice of raising the price but making your food portions smaller. Also, my family owns a restaurant that has been around for over 15 years and yes we have raised the prices on the menu because of inflation, but we have not and never will make the portions smaller. That is extremely shady and disrespectful to your loyal customers like us that have been there since you opened. And now lying to us by saying that the pollo con queso didn’t get smaller when it obviously has is not right. I am sad to say but after yesterday and the years of coming here since I was a child is over. I really hope you learn from this instead of continuing to lie to your customs that your food isn’t shrinking. This is coming from one restaurant owner to another restaurant owner. Do the right thing. Don’t lie to your loyal customers, because we are not blind when we see the size of something being half the size of what it used to be. And yes, raise the prices because of inflation to survive, but don’t also shrink the product. Listen to your loyal customers or else you will lose more like me. I wish you the best.

Average. The cups were warm and salsa was good. The food was average and nothing special. The enchilada sauce was burnt and too acidic. The vegetables were a nice side. The taco was ok. The drink prices were ok and we were not there during happy hour. They remodeled the bar but took space away. We went because a large group and they always have tables to accomidate. They had patio seating. The parking is somewhat difficult.

We just recently made 2 visits to Ajo Al’s. We were so impressed with the friendly staff, the food was fabulous and the atmosphere was nice. We ate outside the first time and inside the 2nd time. Love the way they serve a big tray of chips and dip. We just loved it.
