Look, I’m thrilled that there is an authentic Peruvian place here. And even more glad that all the RMs that went to Peru get to go. But the food is pretty mediocre in general. The service included multiple servers who really just struggle to answer questions about the food. Probably wouldn’t go again. Seems a little like all the 5 star reviews are from people that don’t do reviews except this place which makes it suspicious. To be clear this is NOT a 4.8 star restaurant. Maybe 4.2.

Everything about this place was amazing. The music is fun and sets a good mood. The person in charge was very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious. Everything tasted very authentic. Even my picky eaters loved the anticuchos, the lomo saltado, and the papa à la huancaina.

The food is good and delicious, the service is friendly, but it would be good if the waitresses knew what food they serve and could answer the questions that customers have. The restaurant has been renovated and is much more spacious. The receptionist was very kind and respectful and knowledgeable about the food.

I inhaled my food so fast I didn’t have time to even take a photo. I got the duo ceviche which came with fried fish and I had to share the fried fish with the table I liked it so much. I loved the sauce my ceviche came in so much that I kept adding my wife’s rice to be able to eat more of it after I was done with my plate. I tried the lomo saltado and it had such a great flavor too! Everything was so vibrant and the service was great.

My wife’s favorite dish is Lomo Saltado and I’ve been looking for places that serve it here in Utah county. We got the dish and it was so flavorful! Our server was great and very happy. We really enjoyed eating here!

The food is delicious. If you’ve traveled to Peru and enjoyed the food, you will be transported back in time. Even my 4 y/o and 2 y/o grand daughter enjoyed the anticucchos, limo Salgado, chichi morass. The attention excellent. I think I found my niche.
It’s a small place but don’t let that deceive you.

Aji Peru is a Peruvian restaurant in Provo, only a few minutes off the highway. It’s easy to get to, but there isn’t a lot of parking. They have a few tables outside and less than a dozen tables inside. Their menu isn’t too big but the flavors of the food are great, especially the lomo. The staff was nice but very slow with service, although the food came out quickly. The price per portion was good as the plates were filled. Overall it’s a great spot. Most of the staff only speaks Spanish as a heads up, but they definitely do a good job trying to accommodate if you only speak English.

Food was actually pretty good! The Lomo Saltado/Pobre tasted better than the other’s I’ve had in Orem. The Anticuchos definitely had a lot of flavor! Went well with the salad and corn that came with it. Overall, very great experience with Peruvian food.
