Building was too cold, even after asking manager and waitress to turn down thermostat because of room being entirely too cold. Felt like we were in a cold meat freezer. Never served desert, bake chicken was tough, never was offered lemonade that was on menu as a choice between tea and lemonade. Not enough seating for elderly while waiting for wedding to start, employees hollering down open door to reception room when no one was opening door, unacceptable. Refreshments out on deck in windy cold sprinkling rain. No appropriate place to enjoy Refreshments beside outdoors. Tea had been setting too long watery no taste. The few seatings in lobby was old out dated, cushions worned out sinking in, had to strain to get up from sofa. Service poor, bride/groom paid for service not rendered.. Rating 1

I was in this location for a wedding. However, this place is about 9 miles off of the main highway. There was no phone service for most of the guests back there. I had no contact with the outside for two days. Those who did have service had to go outside in the middle of the night to complete a call. It’s out there.

We used the center for our wedding. And it could not have been a better site. From the staff that went out of there way to help us, to the venue its self which is beautiful and so ideal for a wedding. From the front desk person Ann who always has done everything she can to make it a memorable experience. To the dinning director Mason who not only made a great meal but made sure everything went well. Then there’s Pam that made sure we got everything right from the start. And cant leave out Trevor who made sure all the rooms were right and that no one would slip on some really wet walkways. We can not say enough about this site. If you want a once in a lifetime day. This is the place for you!!!!

The Airfield Conference Center was our wedding venue. We chose it because of it’s beautiful natural setting and because the majority of our wedding guests could stay onsite with us all weekend for an affordable nightly rate. It’s also a great place to avoid some of the stuffiness and rigid restrictions that other wedding venues require – something they usually do to inflate the total cost of your wedding without providing much benefit to you.

This place is a hidden gem! We enjoyed a weekend of group camping and the owner and staff did everything short of rolling out the red carpet for us. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone busy including a pool, boating, ropes course, playground, hiking trails and of course every Cub Scout’s favorite, a Gaga Ball pit. There is even a small farm animal area with a couple of friendly pigs and sheep. We had such a great time and we are looking forward to our next trip to this beautiful and peaceful retreat.

Beautiful place, camp site 4H, lodging is ok needs fixtures and some roofs fixed, beds are Very firm and shower caps need cleaning. Food wasn’t great very little food alternatives for special dietary restrictions and snats around drinking units, etc.
