AhbA began humbly serving the SoLag community in the summer of 2019. It is a dining experience for all fresh food, funky drink & vintage furniture lovers. Home of the best burger in town (the people’s words, not ours!) and South Laguna’s favorite speakeasy, Helen’s. AhbA is your very own European summer in the form of a cozy beachside cottage nestled on PCH. Starting with brunch, we slowly developed a following, leading to the introduction of dinner service, craft beer, cocktails and a natural wine program. From the beginning we’ve held a strong sense of community and pride ourselves on providing guests with quality ingredients in a warm, welcoming environment!

I don’t give 5 stars often but there’s something about this place. The food was as good as everyone says. I opted to go for the tri-tip this time and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooks on a perfectly toasted bun. No fancy frills or gimmicks, just a solid sandwich. Atmosphere was fantastic with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is a bit limited, but as to be expected based on location. I’m staring this on my maps. And officially issuing this place a josh star of excellence.

Food is subpar. Surprised that this place has such high ratings. The Cesar salad was tasty, despite being overdressed. The chicken added to the salad was flavorless, dry, underaeasoned and overcooked. The ahba burger was mediocre at best, with under seasoned patties, cold overall when served, stale buns, needed acidic punch like pickles or ketchup and lots of sauce. Would describe it as wet and lacked flavor and texture. The hot fries were also a disappointment, lacking soft insides and consistent crisp, they were dense and no contrast to the texture giving it a bleh mouth feel… The ambiance is super nice and ordering was easy. But $50 for two dishes that didn’t impress, this place is not worth the time and money. Water was good.

Was excited to try this place but the food was genuinely so bad. We ordered 2 burgers ($23 each after tip and taxes) and it was probably the blandest burger I’ve ever had in my life. Zero flavor. Super greasy too (not in a good way). Fries were good and had good seasoning, but the burger was not worth it. I didn’t order anything else so can’t speak about the other menu items. Service was fine and the place had good vibes. Also no restroom, it was closed.

This place was highly recommended so we made sure to stop by during our day trip to Laguna Beach! We ordered the breakfast burritos which were great (I was warned the sauce might be spicy so so opted to get it on the side, but it was very good!) and I had my first ever matcha cortado which was done very well! It was a seemingly newer employee who took our order so she was a bit frazzled and didn’t have the friendliest demeanor, but I can understand the stress of the lunch rush. Overall I like the beach shack cafe vibe they achieved and would love to come back and try some of their fun menu items!

The food is very yummy but I would skip on the avocado toast. The service is great and very fast. I highly recommend this spot if you are visiting Laguna as it is affordable and convenient.

I visited for lunch for the first time after driving by numerous times and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the burger and the chicken pita sandwich, both of which were incredibly delicious and savory. The service was impressively fast, and the prices were very reasonable. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu! Highly recommend!

Ahba…a masterclass. Incredible food. The menu seemed like there is a hint of Lebanon, with the za’atar, shakshuka, labneh…I absolutely love it. Staff was incredibly friendly. Music was a 10/10. Well done
