Place was pretty good. Went here on a whim. Due to the storm that rolled in, we lost power and decided on this restaurant. There appeared to only be two servers working the whole floor. They did a great job given the amount of people there to eat.
They give chips and salsa while you wait for food. Salsa has a mild kick to it. But nothing bad, our 3yr old ate it fine.
Food portions were large, and I really enjoyed my meal (vegetarian burrito bowl).
All in all it was decent.
You will need to bring things for your children to do. They do not have a kids menu, it’s on the adult menu.

Wow! All I can say is wow. What a hidden gem. Not a fancy place, but that’s not why I go somewhere. I go for the food. And did Agaves shine in this category! Delicious homemade salsa with chips ( not sure if the chips were homemade, but they were warm) were brought while we looked over the menu. We were there after lunch, but before dinner so there weren’t many others. Service was quick, food was brought way quicker than I expected, and the waiter was polite but not chatty. He brought our meals (with changes to the menu description) before we had time to work through the salsa and chips. The burrito I had was the biggest I had ever had and was so delicious! My companion had ordered a meal with 2 burritos and those were smaller, but still way more than they could finish. We both went home with carryout containers. I will definitely be going back.

Little to no wait service was absolutely terrible almost 22-30 minutes before receiving drinks after eating very hot salsa no silverware was brought to the table upon being seated weighted almost another 30 to 45 minutes for food to be brought food was absolutely disgusting no flavor whatsoever husbands meal was entered incorrectly so in terms he did not eat dinner there was only five tables upon arrival and service was absolutely trash. Wish the best of luck for the table of 15 that walked in right after we left with no tip

Had to change my post, Used to be Good food(5 stars), the staff was still helpful and friendly. The chips & salsa used to be good & thick, now looked like water, hot sauce & celontro. Food was no longer fast or good, now 20+ minutes &smaller portions, almost slimy- rice was almost neon orange… Drinks were good still. What a let down, hopefully you change back to making good food.

My wife and I decided to give this place a chance today. We had tried it when it was another restaurant and were disappointed. But under this name, we really were impressed with the food. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was very tasty and didn’t take long at all. The ambience in here was very nice too. They actually played real Mexican music instead of regeton. Try it! You’ll love it!
