Wow! All I can say is wow. What a hidden gem. Not a fancy place, but that’s not why I go somewhere. I go for the food. And did Agaves shine in this category! Delicious homemade salsa with chips ( not sure if the chips were homemade, but they were warm) were brought while we looked over the menu. We were there after lunch, but before dinner so there weren’t many others. Service was quick, food was brought way quicker than I expected, and the waiter was polite but not chatty. He brought our meals (with changes to the menu description) before we had time to work through the salsa and chips. The burrito I had was the biggest I had ever had and was so delicious! My companion had ordered a meal with 2 burritos and those were smaller, but still way more than they could finish. We both went home with carryout containers. I will definitely be going back.

The restaurant looks clean and the staff was nice but when I ordered three fajita bowls, they put big chunk a of vegetables and a lot of it. When we took the vegetables out there was nearly any meat in it. I was furious because I did not paid for this and if I would have known I would have told them no veggies if that was the case. When I called and told the manager what happened she said she can’t do anything about it. I hung up but definitely will never order food from them again!

Don’t waste your time n money! Plates hot, food cold. My 3 enchiladas didn’t come with anything. So I ordered side of rice ad REFRIED BEANS. Had 2 others with me who ordered Refried beans. We all got nasty looking black beans. Told server we ordered Refried, he never brought them at all. I ordered Tequila sunrise drink. The food was meh, I’ve probably been spoiled by incredible Mexican restaurants around me but this one just seemed bland and boring. The drink I got was fairly decent tasting, but a little unsettling once I saw that they made it by pouring mysterious liquid out of a 5 gallon jug that was sitting at room temp for who knows how long. They need to really revamp the food and health standards to keep up with the many better restaurants around.

My wife and I decided to give this place a chance today. We had tried it when it was another restaurant and were disappointed. But under this name, we really were impressed with the food. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was very tasty and didn’t take long at all. The ambience in here was very nice too. They actually played real Mexican music instead of regeton. Try it! You’ll love it!

Our food was not good, just didn’t taste like Mexican food was very bland, even the appearance was not appetizing. We understand everyone has off days which is why I gave them 3 stars, they would do much better with new cooks, at least in all 6 of our opinions.

The staff greeted us as soon as we walked through the door. The restaurant was bright, colorful, and clean. The waiter was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The menu options were diverse but not overwhelming. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the complimentary chips and salsa while we waited for our food to arrive. Our entrees were delivered to us in no time and were still sizzling hot. I tried a dish new to me, the Nachos Fajita. The steak and veggies were nice and tender while delicious queso coated the top of the nacho chips. The sour cream and salsa added the “cherry” on top. It saved time and gained crunchy flavor by eating nachos topped with ingredients instead of making up each tortilla individually. The dish was made how I ordered it, without tomatoes. I really enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. The second entree was called De Luxe. It was two different burritos that were huge. One contained flavourful beef and beans and the other juicy chicken and beans. They were topped with a nice helping of lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Every bite was delicious. Both dishes were generous for the price.

The service was prompt and polite. I ordered a few beers and some appetizers which included the Mexican pizza and a chorizo quesadilla. Ive included a pic of the pizza and imo it was delicious and loaded with toppings. The chorizo quesadilla was greasy af but still ok. I will definitely be back to try some more menu options
