No frills, old school diner with excellent food and service. The cream chipped beef with grits was fantastic!! I dropped my butterknife and the server immediately brought another one to me right away. I don’t know about anybody else, but I give it two thumbs up!! Clean and mellow vibes all around. Will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

COMPLETELY DISGUSTING!!! French toast wasn’t DONE! they just put a mass amount of cinnamon & a glob of butter. Which wasn’t even melted. The Turkey sausage links look even more suspect (probably not done either) since now I know the French toast isn’t cooked. The only thing that was cooked correctly (Done) was my eggs. This is just ridiculous & I will never order from them again. They should be ashamed of themselves. Very poor quality!!!

I never ate in there but I eat from there and baby the homemade toast cheese grits and 3 eggs scrambled well done. The waitresses are sweet so tip them.

I have been going to Ace’s for a home cooked breakfast a few times a month for at least 40 years. I have seen a few different owners over the years, including Harvey, the original owner. And the menu has stayed consistent. Like McD’s stays consistent. The homemade bread is still good, the grits are always just right, and the bacon or sausage patties are tasty. The pancakes are lite and fluffy. The fried fish is one thing that has changed over time, and not for the better. The staff are pleasant and courteous. I’ve driven from Atlantic City hoping I can get to Ace’s before they close to get a hearty breakfast.

The food here is excellent and they make it quick!!! They are fast and the hostess Tanya is a darling. The only complaint I have is the owner and the cook gawks at me!!! It’s very annoying and makes me uncomfortable

I used to come here in the 90’s and everything was delicious so I was in the neighborhood and thought I was treating myself. Nope. The bacon was the only part of my meal I enjoyed cause it was burnt goodness, I won’t elaborate any further I was just really disappointed.

Inconvenient that they don’t take cards for payment, the coffee is not good. I ordered a waffle, it easnt good. I usually go here because it’s convenient not because the food is good.

West Philly Staple, been there at least 45 years. Fresh baked bread is delicious. Nothing fancy, just good food.
