Was a little skeptical at first when I saw the small building, but boy was I pleased. Their BBQ and slaw was very tasty along with the fried chicken. But my overall favorites were the collards and hush puppies. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely stop by there on our next trip through Windsor.

Great buffet, all day, every day. True eastern Carolina style barbecue, chicken, and country sides. Don’t let the small size of the restaurant fool you. They serve you at the buffet and you only get 2 trips, but trust me, it’s all the delicious food you can handle with good service at a clean location. Plus it’s right beside highway 13 for easy access

Vegetables taste like they were just heated out of can with no added seasonings. Bbq taste like they only added vinegar for flavoring. Heavy on the vinegar. Ribs baked with heavy sauce added after cooking. Nice (sides) portion size. Food was hot. Gravy, out of the jar taste. Baked chicken was so salty couldn’t eat. Sweet tea watered down. Dessert is $2 extra. Cake, store brought, not homemade. I did the buffet. Which is 2 trips only. With 2 meats and 2 sides each time. They serve you the food. This was my first time there. Maybe they were having a bad day. Customer service was great. Large seating area and very clean. Clean restroom as well.

Turkey wings shouldn’t stew in BBQ sauce that strong. They’re very tender, but the flavor is over powering. The cheese biscuits are only good fresh. An hour or two out, and they become a monstrosity. The collards are fabulous, and some of the workers are nice. Really a roll of the dice.

Stopped here while traveling with my daughter and her best friend. Paid over 30 and no one ate. Food was cold, disgusting, and after my daughter pulled something very strange out of her bbq sandwich we all quickly lost our appetite. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Didn’t even ask the rude staff for a refund since I felt it would be pointless.

Very good, very tasty, very nice employees. Portions on plates are to large. Would like Child size or Senior size plates & cost less. Would eat more often, most older people can’t eat alot of food like we did when we were younger & getting more exercise & can’t aford high prices when retired & on fixed incomes. Just a thought. Will check back to see of this idea became a reality.

Went to Abrams in Windsor this morning with my family on the way to church. Ordered our food and pulled to the front window. The girl came to the window after about 5 minutes of us sitting there and says they have no bacon and that she doesn’t know when they will be cooking more. Come to find out there is only two people working inside and they had lines inside and out. Why doesn’t this location have cooks. After changing my order and paying for our food I ask where there orange juice is they forgot to give me. The girl state we dont have any so I just didn’t charge you. Needing another drink I had to swipe my card twice to get the third drink. I have ate at quite a few Abrams and they have been great, but this was the absolute worst.

Ok no joke, these guys know whats up with Eastern Carolina BBQ. This is how we do it. We were there on a Sunday morning just before church let out. Pulled pork…perfect. meatloaf…perfect. fried chicken…perfect. collards…perfect. hushpuppies…perfect. The staff was awesome too. We’ll be back next time we’re in town. Thanks!

Went to eat some deelish BBQ at the Windsor location today. The BBQ chicken that I have come to love in the area has never been spicy. The BBQ chicken in the buffet was SO spicy Satan himself would have been shocked. Whatever you put into the BBQ sauce, never ever do that again. Very painful and uncomfortable recovery. I wont be back.
