First visit to Abbott’s! Awesome little place to grab a bite with a nice view. Very friendly staff at Abbott’s and quick service. We got an Abbott’s Hot Lobster Roll (one of the best I’ve had), grilled fish tacos (very filling, tasty and fresh), Nutella crepes, lobster deviled eggs, and Abbott’s Fresh Chips and Dip (lobster dip).

Deviled eggs with lobster were over cooked and the filling had a chemical taste Really disappointing since we had asked specifically if the eggs were good. I wanted a refund since they were not inexpensive but my husband didn’t want to make a stink. The rest of the food was ‘meh’. The service was friendly but food took a long time to come out and the place only had a few customers. I’ve read other reviews which rave about the service and food so I guess it’s a real gamble as to what you get.

No people…a good sign of a poor restaurant, service or food. We order 3 lobster rolls and none had butter. The bun was not toasted and was like a brick. The chowder was like hot milk and butter, no clams. The lobster soup had zero lobster in it. The staff was unpleasant and was not helpful at all. So disappointing….there are so many good places..no need to stop here..

Staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Lobster roll was phenomenal and kids absolutely loved the chicken tenders and tatter tots. The icing on the cake was that they have a full bar so mom and dad could enjoy our mimosas Thanks again! We’ll be back again!

Excellent casual option. The original out in Noank is good, but windy and there is nothing much else to do once you are there. This spot at the back of the new building on Bank St is perfect. Ample indoor seating, very clean, same great food and drinks. Very friendly “fast casual” service. Great for kids.

Stopped at Abbott’s Outpost for lunch. The food could’ve been a lot better for what you’re paying. My boyfriends cold lobster roll was bland, my hot lobster came on a hamburger roll, not a hotdog roll. The only thing that was really enjoyable was the street corn. The coleslaw was just shredded vegetables that had nothing in it to make it a slaw.

Going here was a big mistake, but we were tourists. Place was understaffed, and the facility was not clean, and service was extremely slow. Food was not good. I ordered the fish tacos, and they were of poor quality. Hardly any fish and then they put this ice cold slaw on top of it only to make the fish cold and soggy.

Had a Great dinner. I think the food was better than the location in Noank. Menu has some different items from the Nonank locations menu. Looks interesting for the next visit. Wife, Mother in-law and I ate there on a Sunday in May 2023. I should keep this secret to myself Heh-heh not many people know its there. It is next to Sift in the rear. We enjoyed a Nice view of the water from our seats. I must compliment the staff. Very nice very polite. The meal was ready quickly and to Perfection. Thanks!

Save yourself the time and frustration and visit the original location in Noank. I stopped in for lunch with a friend who was visiting. We walked in and saw no employees. Waited by the front counter for about 15 minutes before we had to knock on the kitchen door for someone to come out. When they did come out there was no apology or greeting. Just a quick “I guess you guys are ready?”. Food was so-so considering how many other seafood spots the town has.

Awesome Lobster Rolls, make sure you get the dipping butter, they put it on the side. Good rolls, and fun atmosphere.
