Greatest kept secret in Bluffton, here for 2 plus years now and our first time here; after always going to Pooler & Savannah. Great experience overall, food quality, service, atmosphere. Incredible service and atmosphere. Food is fresh and delicious and they take you through the menu in detail with instructions beforehand. We ordered the lunch hotpot and KBBQ special and enjoyed every bit of it. Best hotpot spot i’ve been to in a long while.

This is our favorite Korean barbecue and hot pot place to go. The staff are always super friendly. The restaurant is always clean and the food is great! There are some awesome appetizer options tons of different options to make great sauces for your hot pot a huge buffet style area for ingredients for your hot pot. And for everything you get, it’s extremely reasonable.

Okay selection of the ingredients for the hot pot and good selections for the BBQ. The amount of side dishes are lacking and it would not stand up to the options offered in cities.

this was our first time at SHU and we had a blast! shine was such a great server, helped us navigate the menu and made sure all of our questions were answered. we’ll definitely be back!

went here for dinner. we did the ala cart menu. we ordered chicken lo mein and steamed dumplings. I got bubble tea and was suprised by the clear bubbles. the server advised they are healthier than the black ones.
we had nice conversation with our server Rona. we will definitely be back.

First time experience and the concept was unique but the rules were a little ridiculous. The service was ok the owner and the waitress were helpful but they watched over us the entire time. But let’s get into the reality. My sister and I have 2 separate eating lifestyles she eats whatever she pleases and me on the other hand I am a vegan full vegan. Here they tell you whatever 1 person orders then the other person has to order the same.Meaning if I order hot pot my sister had to order hot pop or if I order bbq my sister had to order bbq.Which is the problem,I don’t eat meat which the waitress and owner knew so how can my sister and I have the same option.I told them I wasn’t going to eat and magically the rules changed and they allowed us to split the options. I had exactly 1 bowl not 2nds not 3rds just 1 bowl of Japanese Miso with noodles,2 slithers of corn, (a slice of onion and a couple sliced peppers for flavor) 2 pieces of broccoli and a sprite for $40+!!! Meanwhile My sister had over 5 different meats and seafood options she had chicken,short ribs,scallops,shrimp,pork belly, beef bulgogi, etc and hers was the same price as mine.Ethically and morally that’s just wrong and a rip off. Granted the Miso wasn’t bad it tasted ok but was it over $40 good,absolutely not. They have got to do better with the pricing system it’s borderline scamming. And I get it business is slow and running a small business can be hard trying to generate income but scamming really isnt a good way,if anything they just lost a customer. Hopefully they will find a better way to charge customers accordingly but until then I won’t be going back.… As you can see in the picture attached it’s no way that’s $40+ for 1 bowl of soup,impossible.

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit. The food was incredible, the service was equally amazing. Our waitress (Amy) was so nice and friendly! Cooking the food at our table was a fun experience. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

It was too much work to have to cook your own food! When I went to a Korean restaurant in Queens, New York, the food was cooked for us. The waitress did help a lot, and she was nice. The table was cramped for four people. The protein (steak, chicken) tasted good. However, when I got the receipt it seemed like extra-tax was added on as well as a fee for $6 which I don’t know what it was for. I did leave a great tip: 20%. I do not appreciate restaurants that add on extra taxes etc and little fees. I would not eat here again. For $230, I’d rather go to a Japanese Restaurant or a Thai Restaurant. It would be cheaper, and the food would be tastier. However, I am glad that I tried it!

OH MY GOD I love this place! I came here with some family for my birthday and it was all of our first time, and boy we enjoyed everything about this place. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and informative.
I had the hot pot with Korean broth and tried a little bit of everything in my broth; I loved every single thing I tried! We all walked away full and happy and talking about returning. The owner informed us they are planning to add more to the menu at the start of 2025 so I am excited to try new items.
I highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed!!
