Ordered Stir-fried Water Spinach with Chili in Fermented Bean Curd Sauce and hk style pork rib, they made the water spinach with ho taste, no fermented bean sauce at all. So disappointed.

Our favorite Cantonese restaurant closed during the Pandemic. We have looked for a worthy replacement and A-Me Kitchen is the one! The food was authentic and delicious. We loved the fried rice, vietnamese shrimp, tofu with mushrooms and the sweet and sour pork. All were really great. The servers were efficient and nice. Well worth a drive to Alhambra. We will be back soon!

Came here yesterday for the first time with my friends and OMG! Big portions of food! Really enjoyed the beef fried rice, Orange chicken, sweet and sour short rib, and the chow fun (dry noodles) were an absolute. I will definitely come back to try different options!

This newly opened HK style cafe occupied what used to be Tasty Garden Cafe on Valley near Garfield in Alhambra. There used to be Tasty Garden everywhere. Buy now with this last one closed, we have to say goodbye to the good foods of Tasty Garden.

This place is a great find. They just opened up with a new owner and they specialize in Chinese dishes made HK style. It is fantastic food and priced right as our bill was only $34 before tip. I will go back for sure to try all the other dishes. We had the French fish fillet and the salted fish and chicken w/ eggplant pot.

Friend brought me here for authentic Chinese food. Honey glazed pork, fried tofu with mushroom sauce, I want to say a bok choy (my friend claims it’s not bok choy nor Chinese broccoli) with garlic sautéed and a half chicken that’s seems boiled (it’s not) with a very subtle delicious flavor that’s accompanied with a delicious ginger, green onion garnish that’s very fragrant. They do have an American friendly Orange chicken, beef and broccoli, chow Mein, fried rice type dishes but it’s such a waste to order that when you have really tasty items available. If you don’t want to order your stereotypical American Chinese dishes but want a noodle dish I would recommend the Beef chow fun it’s basically a wide rice noodle with beef. While, I did not get it I would recommend it to others. I had the dishes mentioned first. The honey glazed pork is delicious (better than orange chicken) but I find it is really fatty (the meat, I’m just really picky regarding my meat, I normally cutoff the fatty trim on Asada and other meats) besides the fact that it was fried. I liked the garlicky bok choy veggies with the rice, the fried tofu with mushroom sauce is okay it’s really soft. The chicken in spite of the color was delicious, I just wish that I could have gotten more white meat. Of course, that’s not the restaurants fault. The presentation of the chicken is slightly off putting to an American due to the color (so pale) but it does taste delicious the subtle flavor is definitely a change of pace for your hapless American. I would recommend that you just nibble a bit of the chicken it’s really good, after that you’ll go all in on it. There’s a variety of drinks from your standard Asian hot teas, foundation drinks but there’s also a Hong Kong milk which is really good and different from your regular standard milk that you can get from other places. I had the watermelon slush drink and my other friend had the passion fruit slush. We did get a decent size bowl of rice but, it honestly wasn’t enough for the three people eating. However, we did have lots of food leftover and my friend said that’s normal even when her family of eight show up with an appetite. The price is worth it, but I would definitely recommend you come here with someone who is experienced with the menu. The person who brought us here is a regular patron so they know which dishes the restaurant excels at. While, my watermelon slush was good I would recommend that you try the tea shop literally three doors down.

The food was delicious, and the prices were great for the amount of food we were served, we only ate about half. However, after waiting for a while we had to wave over a server so we could order. After the food was brought out, the server checked on us once and then 90 mns later we had to wave them over for the check. On the positive side, our conversation was not interrupted at all

Food taste really good and price is pretty good too. Everything else is just a good standard. Decent place to have lunch. Nothing fancy but gets the job done if you need a place for a family or friends to eat.

Excellent steam Sea Bass; moist & tender, like how my mom makes it. Lamb hot pot was perfect, not overly done and not gamey.
