Incredible food made from ingredients imported from Italy. Probably the best meal I’ve eaten in Sarasota. Chef Luigi provided incredible service and food. This is exactly what you hope to find when searching for a local hidden gem.

Stopped by and grabbed two becco paninis. Not only was the woman who took our order (I assume to be the owner) very friendly and attentive, the food speaks for itself. I am originally from the north east where we take our Italian food very seriously, and this was more delicious than some of those places! The prosciutto, mozzarella and basil were all super fresh and the olive oil was very savory. We will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Hopefully we can sit down next time because the atmosphere was so inviting. I am so thankful that the this little gem is still able to run despite the pandemic.

Truly adore this locally owned Italian spot. Have been here many times with friends and family- the owners are pleasant and patient. They share their insights about the hand selected wine assortment and they have some of the best cheese and meats I’ve ever had. It’s like being right in Italy. Occasionally the owners will have pasta and apertif hours. They are closed temporarily while they travel home to italy through august. Excited to see this place open back up and continue to grow!!!

Huge shout out to A BITE downtown Sarasota across the street Kojo. Delicious pizza and Italian wines, meats and cheese. Owner Luigi is very kind and passionate about his craft. Pictured is Margarita and La favorita with prosciutto. Also the otre primitivo wine. Highly recommend.
