What i ordered:
1. Prime cut tenderloin, medium
2. Prime cut rib eye, medium
3. BBQ ribs
Tenderloin:
200gr of real prime cut and tender. The steak has their own flavour, so it is not necessary to dip it in the sauce.
Rib eye:
200gr of i’m not sure it is prime cut and lots of fat. My preference is lean meat, so this rib eye give me a let down. The flavour was about on the same level with tenderloin.
BBQ ribs:
Special menu only on the weekend. Tender and easy to peel. Full of flavour, even more than the tenderloin and rib eye.
Because this is a streer vendor, so dont expect a restaurant level of comfort. But you really get what you paid. The range of the price is between 75-90K. Good deal for the budget.
The other thing to note is their service. Despite the server is very responsive, during the weekend, waiting time from ordering untill the food is served can take more than 30 mins.
It is also recommended to book in advance, especially on weekend. The waiting list is quite long.
The meat is well marinated, they cooked based on your preference like well done, medium, medium rare. Furthermore they have several options for the dip sauce i.e mushroom and black pepper also the karbo/potatoes you can choose from fries, wedges, or mashed. For the meat they have regular meat for example from New Zealand, Aussie, and meltique. In addition, their chicken menu such as chicken burger, grilled chicken, and smoked chicken were not dissapointed as well! Well marinated, juicy, and full of flavour. The price for the steak starts from 80k and for the chicken starts from 50k.
The downside would be because they allowed their customers to smoke in the dining area despite having children customers around!
Finally Bogor has decent tent steak. This restaurant just opened on Nov 2022. The concept is similar with tent steak in Tangerang or Jakarta, but this one actually better in terms of dining place, bigger and standalone.
They offers meltique and new zealand steak with 4 choices of sauce, they are:
– Barbecue sauce: sour and bit spicy with smokey taste
– Blackpepper: not try yet
– Chimicurri: oily & spicy
– Creamy mushroom: creamy and tasty
They served the steak with stir fried beans. It taste not bad but not good either. They default potato is french fries. Have to spend extra 5k to upgrade into baby potato. Too bad during my visit, baby potato are not available.
Beside steak, they also offer smoked brisket. Unfortunately I cannot try it since it’s not available during my visit.
I tried NZ rib eye, meltique rib eye, and tenderloin rib eye. The taste of meltique steak is less meaty than regular steak but I love the juiciness of the meltique.
Go for meltique rib eye, the meat cut is wider but not too thick, thus the doneness is perfect as requested.
Tenderloin meltique is too thick, some part of its center become medium doneness while I ordered for medium well.
NZ ribeye are overcooked, but thankfully my spouse like it.
About dining place, they only offers outdoor area which covered by huge tent, align with their concept. I recommend you not to come during rain, it would be less convenient.
Parking space is spacious for its class. Fit for 8-10 cars.
Toilet are not available in this restaurant, you have to go down to another building. They also doesn’t have wastafel, you have to share kitchen sink with their staff. Well, it’s a tent steak after all.
Overall if you want to have a good steak without having to spend much money, this restaurant is for you.

This place is very fast serving my order, very good.
Food is just same with other competitive resto out there, so yeah just perfect with the price is only less than 100k per serving.
But drinks variant is only available few kind, like mineral water or tea, that’s it.
Unfortunately, the smoked brisket not available when I came, so haven’t taste it, but the steak, I recommend meltique, because it’s just taste better.
And the buffalo wings is good tho.
Very recommend
The place is always packed with people and you usually have to wait because there are witing list. But once you’re seated, the food and beverages came pretty fast. Overall I’d recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty, affordable steak.
