☕ Espresso Quality:
The espresso at Clock Tower Coffee is decent. It’s a well-made shot that satisfies the coffee craving.

Scenery and Ambiance:
A major highlight of this cafe is the nice scenery and ambiance. It’s a very pleasant and relaxing setting to enjoy a drink.

Study/Work Area:
The café offers a big area specifically for working or studying. This is a great feature for students, remote workers, or anyone needing space to focus.

Overall Impression:
Clock Tower Coffee is a solid choice, especially if you’re looking for a great atmosphere and a dedicated space to work or study. The decent espresso combined with the excellent setting makes it a highly recommended spot.

We found Clocktower Coffee Roasting by accident and decided to buy some beans. A nice touch was being offered an additional coffee to go with the purchase. A first and lovely gesture, thank you! We purchased the espresso beans and enjoyed our first coffee with them this morning. ☕

A great place to catch up with coffee. I love their ambience and their service is quick and friendly. They have a micro market setup with plenty of souvenirs. I got the caramel macchiato and it was perfect and refreshing.

Best cold brew in town! I come here almost every day for my cold brews. The staff know my order as a regular and are always very friendly. On busy days like Fridays you might have a hard time finding seating, but overall it is a great cafe— clean and tidy. The only thing I would say needs improvement is how the cashiers are trained on the till, because my cold brew appears to change in price every time I go (50c to $1 differences) based on how they add the Oat Milk to the order.
Despite this, I still recommend the cold brew to all my friends! Nowhere else does it better IMO!

No light roast. No pourovers. I ordered cappuccino “for here” and it came in a cardboard cup. Easy parking in strip mall. Crème brûlée cheesecake was a nice dense cheesecake but see with a *soft* brown top and no discernable caramel taste.

This review is about the coffee only.

I come here every single day, and get either the Brazil drip coffee or a cold brew. I also get coffee for the house.

The coffee beans are fresh roasted every day/every other day. The whole shop always smells like freshly roasted coffee.

I’ve talked to the owner, and he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about the whole roasting and brewing process. This shop started out in 1998, and has been going strong ever since. He’s shown me the massive water filter that leads to pure water being used, which makes the coffee taste and smell only like coffee.

Fantastic coffee shop overall. I appreciate the frequency of daily roasting which keeps coffee fresh, and the overall friendly vibe and family like atmosphere of the shop. I highly recommend the drip or cold brew.

My one complaint is there’s very few mugs and cups, mostly everything is TOGO. I find that hot water into a TOGO cup messes up the flavor and gives me a stomach ache, and I find real mugs and glasses are part of a nice coffee shop vibe. So I’d recommend to bring your own water bottle. I also don’t like the fact that the surrounding is a parking lot, but that complaint maps more to American Suburbia and isn’t specific to this coffee shop. The coffee is so good though that this small complaint doesn’t change my five star rating.

I didn’t eat or get bakery items so hard to say anything about the food. Feels like a nice coffee shop in a totally unexpected part of Mountain View.

They have art supplies, candles, printed cards and other things beyond a cafe and bakery

CCRC is a quiet, under the radar coffee place in a very nice neighborhood. The coffee selection is not as diverse as Starbucks but has many unique flavors like “Spring Lavender Latte”.

Pros:
– Large selection of coffee, tea and pastries.
– Great location, the neighborhood is good to walk around.
– EV charging in the same campus.

Cons:
– Coffee was not very hot.
– Limited seating, the place can get very crowded at times.

Nice little neighborhood coffee shop and roaster in a quiet location. Selections of coffee and beans are great. Good outdoor seating and taste of coffee.

[Coffee Experience]
The coffee here has a good variety and taste. They have a great selection of drinks. When you buy coffee bags, they give you a free drink which is nice! Also, they give you a good amount of beans for the piece.

However, Purchasing bags of coffee can be mysterious since they don’t put the roast date on the bag. Coffee tasted fresh enough, but for the serious coffee connoisseur this is important.

[Customer Service]
Everyone here was super friendly! It appears to be a family run shop which I appreciate! I always prefer these shops to Starbucks or other big chains. I felt welcomed when I came here!

I recommend giving this place a shot! Loved the vibe, the staff, and the coffee!

Friendly staff. I got a latte, it wasn’t that good, tastes a little stale in my opinion. Vibes are slow and chill, good place to sit and talk a bit. Overall nothing special about the place or the food.
