The food at ghost ranch is very American style but clean and good in terms of ingredients.

The salad was MASSIVE and had a great flavor. (We got a citrus arugula salad I believe) Very very worth the money and a great choice. The burrito had clean and fresh ingredients but was lacking flavor without the salsa the meat needs to be way more flavorful and potentially consider different internal ingredients. The rice and beans were solid.

The “street corn” dip was disappointing. The description was nothing like what we got we were expecting street corn and instead got a mostly cheese dip with chips. The cheese was very very greasy and the ratio of cheese to corn was way off, the cheese was way too overkill and heavy. A recipe rebalance could make this dish great.

I personally don’t think I would be back but they nailed the interior and the goal of the restaurant I also respect the very open kitchen concept.

Ghost Ranch was such a positive experience. I had driven by it a few times and was very excited to bring my fiancé here. Often times, when something is anticipated so much, it does not live up to it. Not the case here.
We ordered their version of elote. It was served in a skillet with the corn on the bottom, cheese and a mayo spread over the top. This was the only dish we were not thrilled about. It was tasty but the layer of cheese was way to thick. The menu mentioned cotija cheese but it was a much thicker, melted version of a cheese blend. It made the dish very oily, which took away. The first couple bites were tasty but the thick cheese and oil got a little overwhelming. Chips were fresh and very good.
For our main dish we shared the platter, which was a perfect size and so delicious. I can eat a ton but my fiancé likes little portions of different things so it worked perfectly for us. The skirt steak was cooked to a perfect medium temperature. It also had a great flavor! Many times the skirt steak at a Mexican restaurant is very thin and overcooked. This was thick, juicy and very flavorful. This dish cones with 3 enchiladas as well. Each had a different sauce and was delicious. They seemed to be deep fried for a second because the enchiladas were a little crispy. Not in a bad way at all though. They were very good.
Lastly we had desert. It was between 2 but we chose this one. It was a very large portion and very good. The strawberries on top and the whipped cream were a nice touch.
Neither of us drink alcohol so we just had water.
Atmosphere was great, our server was friendly and the food was great. We will definitely be back.

We originally came here for happy hour. I didn’t get any pictures of their drinks, but the cocktails we ordered were really good with the perfect alcohol ratio! For food, we got the green Chile burger and the sampler platter. The sampler platter came with the skirt steak and the steak was bomb The enchiladas were not my favorite, and my fiance didn’t care much for the burger. However, bc the drinks and steak were good, I do want to go back to try more food. We spent a little over $100 for 2 meals + 3 drinks + app. The service was okay, we had to ask for our waitress a few times bc she was nowhere to be found, might’ve just been because it was busy.

Ghost Ranch is a really fun neighborhood spot with a great atmosphere and vibe. It’s a cool place to gather with friends and enjoy the energy of the space. The food was good overall, I’d give it about a 4 out of 5, and while service took a bit longer than expected, the experience was still enjoyable.

Definitely a solid local spot and a great addition to the neighborhood.

Love love love their Aztec cake. Enjoyed the cheese crisp which has Chrizo, Avocado, beans, pickled onion, Oaxaca, pico and crema. We also ordered Green Chicken enchiladas which came with green sauce and were very tasty. Always great service!

I was on vacation in the area and am so glad my google map research brought me here. I sat at the bar on a Saturday evening (12/27) and was served by Joey who was extremely friendly and welcoming and helpful, even providing some wonderful other recommendations in the area. (I didn’t catch the name of the other bartender , but he was also quite friendly .. so props to the team behind the bar!)

The mezcal mule was mighty tasty.. and the pork enchiladas were fantastic, especially hit the spot after a day of hiking! There was more in the menu I would have loved to try.. I would highly recommend this place!

I debated on even leaving a review, because I don’t want people to know about this place.

Walked in around 7pm on a Saturday night. Plenty of tables, so there was no wait – which was unbelievable.

Got the queso fondido as an appetizer. Chorizo was amazing with it. Margarita flight was also great. The Fuego margarita is what I’d get next time individually though.

I’m an indecisive person so I got the sampler. It was amazing and a great choice, when you want a little bit of everything.

Wife got the Aztec cake which was great. I’d honestly get this next time.

Finished it off with the Chocoflan which was a 5/5.

Honestly, everything here was near perfect. Service was great – particularly Alex. He checked on us often and gave amazing recommendations. Atmosphere was amazing. Lighting was perfect. The price is worth it. This place gives everyone else a run for their money. I’ll absolutely be back here very soon.

I’ve been to Ghost Ranch a handful of times before writing this review. I normally dine here with my bestie group for lunch. We love to share the green chili cornbread and chips with queso, salsa, and guacamole (go big or go home!). I always order the Carne Asada steak bowl because it’s bomb! The meat is always tender and cooked right around medium temperature and they cut it up for the bowl. My friends order different things each time, not me, creature of habit… of course we are having lunch cocktails because we have gossip to dish too. The Frose is not only delectable but visually stunning! I also enjoy their Cadillac margarita, their margarita sampler… anything with tequila, the Paloma is great too! I want to add that I have been here for dinner and for some reason, the lunch menu IMO is better and the crowd is always more fun!

First time here and it did not disappoint. Everything was fast and amazing. Our sever Emma was so personable and made it fun being there even with how busy it was. Highly recommend the skirt steak taco platter but definitely come hungry or have some help.

The food was delicious. The chips and salsa and the combo skirt steak platter were devoured, not a morsel left on our plate. We had had a late lunch and were full before heading to Ghost Ranch, so we split the chips and dinner plate. The margherita was the “best ever” according to my wife.
